lol. that's funny. i've been thinking about a fEarful since i got to play through a nEarful last weekend. thing DID kill for my setup.
but i feel you. i'm really tired of the "4 string Fender, VT and a compressor, through a fEarful... do NOT put a 15 with a pair of 10's......." bullshit. it's annoying that a lot of people think there's only one way to go about getting a good sound. and i guess if we were all going for the SAME one sound........ but how fucking boring would that be?
i think the effects forum over there has gotten a bit better. i was bitching to some of the mods about the intent of no OT chatter vs the strict adherence to the letter of the rules. and i know a few other people were too. rein in your site if you think it's getting out of hand, but shit was getting silly there for a minute.
also...... i have zero experience with Fenders. never owned one. so..... yeah. i can not contribute anything but rambley bullshit to this thread. i'm a winner!
