anyone here heard of Oryx? awesome 2 piece doom/sludge neighbors that are relocating to denver soon. the guitarist rocks nothin but worshipper cabs at this point. has a fuckin MONSTROUS tone. if you're up there, definitely check em out when they roll through.

Kickass, I didn't realize that Oryx was relocating. Heard great things about 'em.

We get The Body and Full of Hell in about two weeks. My wallet, liver, and neck are all going to be destroyed by the end of May. I can't complain, though.

EDIT - FUCK YES! Just got confirmation that we are direct support to Brothers of the Sonic Cloth next month. :!!!:

Also, for fuck's sake quit it with the pissing contests. Nobody gives a shit how many albums, pedals, shirts, or amps you own if you're just going to use it to justify pointless bullshitting online. Like what you like regardless of how other people classify the genre. Christ.

makes sense, also I'm wearing a hat right now so I guess it all adds up.

DoS.... beer never appealled to me aside for the end result. I only drank beer to get drunk and it was cheap and pretty much always given to me for free. I like liquor more. but honestly I only drink it for the end result. I have no true enjoyment from the actual consumption. To me it's all pointless calories which is why when I do drink liquor i mask it in coke zero.

empty that's what I said.

It defies logic that a designed-to-be-adjustable sonic parameter would require me to take the pedal apart in order to adjust it. Now, obviously, there are certain exceptions to the rule (input thresholds seem the most obvious to me at the moment), but a one knob distortion that's secretly a three knob distortion seems a little pedantic to me.

This isn't really related to Nick's pedals at all, though. Just a general statement.
