As much as I always hated the way that works, it really is a good model, leastways for the business, as shipping out/etc isn't limited by when the pedals are preordered/done/whatever. I've found if anything it's created more of a demand for the product(s).

Look I don't want to get in some schematics war with you. I'm going to go on and say I honestly know all these bands and more that you have listed. cause with this pissing contest i'll end up drowning you, son.

Have you heard their newer stuff though? The album isn't out yet but I've seen Shroud of the Heretic twice in the last month with them playing only the new album. Thom was saying it was pretty death/doom. And Symptom is definitely death/doom as I just said, JT pretty much just recycles Anhedonist riffs.
Unless you're thinking of trad death/doom like my dying bride.
Not trying to be combative, but I actually hang out with these people at their shows as well as owning their vinyls. It's not not death/doom just because it isn't easily comparable to other bands that also call themselves death/doom.
And not to piss on your pissing contest, that is a great collection, but on my itunes I have 3457 albums... My physical collection is only comprised of albums I really enjoy and want to physically own.

I gotta say, that was pretty fucking uncalled for, especially from a guy that wasn't involved with ordering a product from Midnight or having dealings with him of any description.
The "ass of a junkie" is in regards to the whole Blake Judd/Nachtmystium fiasco that went on for years.

Absolute Honesty would also be a good policy. Distressing that this has all gone down.
In lighter news, Flux finished recording today for a full length. No Idea when It will be DONE and available. but it now exists. Really fucking happy with how it's sounding. You'll all likely hate it

Ok, sorry it just wasn't entirely clear in the context of those posts and the sequence they were delivered in.
Which happens. Quite a bit in here.
Rapid pace doominations.
The Iron Ether model is similar to the Dunwich model, and no it doesn't suck. It ensures you can deliver what you promise and that quality is high. The only disappointing thing is that I don't own either of those brands' products....yet.
I guess I feel like Sam. It's great to see an Aussie company get up there and have a bash at it with a good product.
I also hope something can be done to turn it around.
Anyhow, new Flux!!!!
And what was the Sleep setlist like?
Sitting by the side of the fucking road waiting for a tow truck because me wife's transmission just shit itself.
Hoping it's just a computer error.
Suzuki have already been slippery about honouring the fault under warranty.
Elder makes it better.

Yeah, it's all good man. But the post did mention Blake Judd immediately before saying that.

Is so fucking Spinal Tap that I'm actually stifling laughter right now.

It's technically the same thing.
But as a reference to certain bands sometimes I like to switch them up between death metal bands that play doom in their songs (death/doom) and doom bands that play spurts of death metal (doom/death) not that official names are any different. It's just for my own personal classifications in my harddrive.

I'm not trying to have a musical knowledge dick sizing. I like you SLK , I like your work. I don't see why we should have to argue the merits of a bands self proclaimed genre. So let's just grab a beer and gather everyone for a round of rufee roulette.

Thread cleanse alert: Nick posted an additional pedal to the One Knob lineup.
It is of definite interest to us in here.
Check the Facebook.
