Most Moog pedals, probably anything that takes an expression/CV signal, and that Misty Cave is probably a great option too.Strange Tales wrote:INC: LAL Misty Cave
My current line of thought is "what exactly can I fuck with using the LFO Out of the Goatkeeper?"
I need Big City to get those Judders in, I don't feel like paying $30-50 for shipping from MWFX
Well that line of thought didn't last long and I'm glad it didn't, just ordered the last Big Metal Judder from MWFX![]()

I'm really not sure about Moog pedals, for their price point there aren't really any that interest me a whole ton. I like the delay has a ton of LFO options, but I'd rather nail my dick to the pavement than drop $600 for one.

I feel you on that. At the price point I'd rather have a timeline for sure.Strange Tales wrote:I'm really not sure about Moog pedals, for their price point there aren't really any that interest me a whole ton. Always enjoyed Goatkeeper LFO into Boss PS-3... sequenced pitch shifts for fun and profit!Strange Tales wrote:My current line of thought is "what exactly can I fuck with using the LFO Out of the Goatkeeper?"

How possible/easy was it to get the shifts in tune?

Very easy... the "shift" knob on the PS-3 sets the maximum, and it auto-quantises to the half-steps in-between (HYPHENATION NATION!)...
Been a while since I had both a PS-3 and GK, but I remember it being pretty easy to do, especially with the square-wave LFO and, obviously, the user-programmable one(s)...

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Raptio is the easiest glitch pedal to use in a band context IMO, but the Judder is just so much fun when messing around on my own. I wasn't sure if I should put up the Judder or the CT5 for sale, but I knew the CT5 would sell quicker. Also, being on this forum every day I'm sure I'm able to get one either by checking the Shark Tank for the next batch, finding one in the BTS, or by throwing out some tasty tradebait later. CT5 is amazing, but it hasn't been on my board for a good while now.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I've wanted a PS-3 for the longest time and now I really want to run one with an 8step program or MF102 or something... Does the expression control delay time in the delay modes or is it always pitch shift?fever606 wrote:Very easy... the "shift" knob on the PS-3 sets the maximum, and it auto-quantises to the half-steps in-between (HYPHENATION NATION!)...

Pretty sure the expression control is only active in the pitch shifter mode... it is rudimentary at best, but works for exactly that purpose... I think the PS-5 and PS-6 give you a bit more control over what the expression input can do...

It's only active in mode 11 AFAIK. It doesn't sound a bit like a Whammy. The PS-3's EXP jack is very disappointing. Everything else is fantastic!

Ahh that's way less useful than I thought. The whole mode 7 thing is the only reason I really wanted one before that. I've been thinking about a ps5 because they go for so cheap
