I just got it so I'm still kind of learning my way around it a bit, but it's a fun pedal for sure. What would you like to know?Disarm D'arcy wrote:UglyCasanova wrote:Spill the beans on the Foxtrot, please.

Starting running this yesterday. Lots of fun. Haven't been able to experiment with the Buzz and the Dual Rectifier too much. I wasn't able to play at "band" volume yesterday but I liked what I was coaxing out of it.
The Afterneath sounds great. Really like what it does with the drag. It seems to almost be playing notes behind what I'm doing. Sounds great for some of the clean passages I do. Sounds great stacked with the Cadavernous. Woof.

Love it! Awesome board

Guess this goes here as well, even if it's only to have fun with until the GF gets back with my DAW so I can start recording bass for the new iRerror tracks![]()

UC, I see that board and I think about all the money and time waiting/wondering/worrying for those pedals to show up. You are a modern marvel!
Great boards all around! I'll have a new one up soon enough!

Haha, yeah. I must have gotten pretty lucky after hearing all those horror stories of Seppuku's not turning up. Money wise, it is indeed a lot for a student, but I saved up a lot of money so I could afford going to school for three years and it didn't turn out to be as expensive as I had at first imagined (we get paid to go to school here, at least enough to cover living expenses), so I've been burning off my savings on these (among other things). That saved up money is gone now, so from here on out the collection will grow from me flipping other pedals.

Haha, I don't know, really. I was just looking at it yesterday and felt the ol' GAS coming on.insubordination wrote:I just got it so I'm still kind of learning my way around it a bit, but it's a fun pedal for sure. really cool little board! The Malekko and Subdecay look super nice next to each otherinsubordination wrote:Starting off 2016 this way, trying to not make too many changes. Just added the Charlie Foxtrot today but that might go on a tabletop board I am assembling. Sounds pretty awesome on guitar!

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Well, here is what I can offer so far:UglyCasanova wrote:Haha, I don't know, really. I was just looking at it yesterday and felt the ol' GAS coming on.
It's fun! I really like all the settings (Stutter, Pitch Up, Pitch Down, and Random) for quick sampled notes and chords, with the Mix set low so that it's like a constant freakout under whatever you're playing. I haven't played with anything but guitar but I originally picked it up to use with my Monotribe and some other stuff, but was enjoying it with guitar so I just threw it on my board for now.
The Threshold control is very useful so that you can be picking more lightly then dig in to trigger the sample function, or set it always on, or trigger it manually (which was a little trickier to get the hang of). The soft footswitch is a nice touch as well. Haven't delved into expression capabilities yet, but I have some ideas.
The only real downside is I wish the duration was longer or there was a way to do infinite hold type stuff, but it's not really a dealbreaker. Shorter durations might especially be useful when running drum machines or synth stuff through it. There is also a slight volume drop when engaged, but it's not really noticeable. I need to see if there's a trim pot or something to adjust that. Overall though I really dig it.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

You really had me until volume drop. I fucking hate that, haha. Please let me know if you see a trimpot!insubordination wrote:Well, here is what I can offer so far:UglyCasanova wrote:Haha, I don't know, really. I was just looking at it yesterday and felt the ol' GAS coming on.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Indeed I am, above noon. Maybe drop is the wrong word. I think the buffer part of the pedal has a quieting effect, which I noticed because my pickups are kinda noisy. So maybe scratch the volume drop part?Teej212 wrote:i havent noticed a volume drop, are you adjusting the preamp or no?
