Took a long hard look at the Verbs RNG module buy ultimately it was too redundant with what I already had and way too much HP for something I wound up replicating with the Brain seed.

I've only built the Haible Dual WASP so far but that thing is one nasty motherfucker. Want to try building much more of their stuff.
Cool, thanks for the input.
The samples I've heard from the R*S and Verbos stuff sounds pretty "big".
As soon as I can get my corner studio situated and a new table I can plug all my stuff in to a proper mixer. That should help my sound.
Right now I'm running my rack -> pedals -> guitar amp -> headphones. Which isn't ideal, but it works for now. I might have to take a day off of work soon so I can run it through my bass amp

I run everything through my bass head -> cab. The only thing of note is that my setup (Acoustic 370 -> Peavey 2x15) can not and will not process drones and drums at the same time at all. It compresses horribly and everything sounds awful. By itself it'll do either fine but together is a mess. Not sure if it's my mixer or I'm just hitting the limitations of what I'm using. Really need to stop fucking around and buy monitors for this.

Does anyone want a black Greyscale Maths panel? All I ask in return is that you pay shipping and/or send me something interesting/fun in return

Mannequins load 1 just came in. Rack doesn't arrive til tomorrow but at least they're pretty to look at.
So, uh, what is the deal w screws? i thought they'd come w the modules but apparently no? i wld like to get some before the rack arrives so I can play it upright if i so choose. Is it a standard size that you can buy at The Home Depot or whatever?

M3 is the screw size you want. I found some at home depot, but they only came in little 3 and 4 packs, not by the hundred.
Most modules will come with screws, but if you rely only on that you will end up mismatched.
I finally said fuck it and bought a 100 pack of black bolts.

If I recall correctly Mannequins modules have screws taped inside the box somewhere. But it’s wise to buy a cheap bag of your own so you’re not caught short.

also also, soooooo... when i was running module outs into a H9 -> Big Sky -> KP3 chain, there was no volume change when they were clicked on. now that i swapped the Big Sky and H9 for a Starr Wisdom and RM-1, it is WAY quieter when either of those two are turned on.
murp? WHYFOR.

Buffers maybe? All in the first chain are buffered. Starry Wisdom is probably not buffered, not sure on the RM1.

Vidret, I do that with other gate sequencers, it ought to work with a cv sequencer too.

I would check whatever module you want to trigger, but I think trigger inputs are usually triggered by the rising edge of a gate over a certain threshold. So that technique would probably work.
