This is just a little test of syncing audio and video, I could use a tripod, hard to hold the phone and wiggle knobs!

You rubbed your bits on it appropriately, which is different.

Sounds awesome! Looks like you have 2 Three Sisters in your rack? Why choose 2 of them over 2 different filters?

(Not a criticism, I want one and have certainly pondered the possibility of two )

Kbit: One is probably enough! A good portion of my rig is polyphonic (duophonic?). I sometimes plug my Linnstrument into the Shuttle Control and play it that way, and I like to have notes overlap a little bit when I do it that way. So I play it kinda like a mono synth but with sustain tails that overlap, kinda like how Rings does it natively in poly mode. I originally got two sisters thinking I might use it this way, but I usually use my 2 uVCF for that instead. I will most likely cut back to a single Sisters some day, but having two is pretty nice. The kick drum on that video is from Sisters, and the other one is unpatched.

In regards to input gain, couldn't you run your vca before the filter input?

I have Plague Bearer, Great Destroyer and Trshmstr, and they are all very different. Trshmstr is by far the most useful of the 3, and is also good for stacking after the PB or GD. All 3 can be used as weird glitchnoise generators/oscillators and produce different types of sounds. PB and GD both do chirpy squealy CV and starve stuff, but not the same stuff, and I think PB is the more versatile of the 2 for that kind of thing (Noise Swash, Atoner, Trogotronic etc)...though with the new version of the Destroyer, it should likely be easier to get a wider range of these types of sounds. Trshmstr can self oscillate in both the filter and distortion sections, for more controlled/tunable sounds, and has the best (and the best range of) classic distortion sounds.
Warps is another good one for after fuzz or first dirt in a stack. And of course anything with tubes. Trog, Erica, Metasonix, Elby.
I still want the Fuzz Factory too. Seems to be a pretty overlooked module so far. Also, came out around the same time as the Trshmstr. It's like they were made for each other...

Not sure about the v/oct situation, check the muff thread for that. I think it has a 3 octave range or something?
The extra jacks on the plague bearer are built in passive mults. So, you can use 2 CV signals to modulate each parameter, and do 2 in/1 out, or 1 in/2 out for the audio.

This is currently what I have put together in my first month. The Sport Mod is on the way. There is a lot of overlap right now.
I know I'll be swapping out the Tides for a Just Friends next month. I might ditch the SVVCF and the Spectrum in favor of a Rings and a small mixer and mult. The Extra Mullet looks like a cool mult.
Still need to figure out how to use the Disting. It's not even hooked up. I plugged it in and all the LEDs just kept cycling. I don't know if I need to buy an SD card or not. I'll probably try to figure that out this weekend. Also need to hook up the Beatstep Pro and learn that. That might change my whole plan of attack.
Currently just learning how to use all these things. Having a lot of fun. :thumb:

Here's a shitty video I uploaded the other day. I think this was my 19th patch or so. Short self generating loop thing.

Looks fun! I kinda want to have a Spectrum in my rack some day. I'd have maybe gone with an SPO over the Quad Atten, attenuverting > attenuating, all things being equal. And regarding your Disting, it shouldn't do that, maybe there is an SD card in there already and you should pull it out. If not :idk:

Really liking the contrast when i use my Retro Mechanical Labs custom Electron Fuzz with the eurorack. Thing just sounds massive! Really enjoying mixing my pedals into the setup.

I wanted to start with a saw core and tri core vco. It's a nice balance right now as the Mangrove has a ton of character.
Quadratt 1U right above the Quad Atten should take care of that unless I'm mistaken. I probably don't need the Quad Atten right now. I'm still trying to figure out how and where I need to use attenuating. Haha.
I bought the Disting second hand, no SD card.

hurrmrmrmrmrm.

sooooo... been mad working out all the THINGS at my house, trying to narrow it down to what's going into the 12u case that should be here in a few weeks. and am wayyyy under-utilizing the 4 Vox. i'm going to take that out and put a Troika, Harmonig and Morpho Cloudso. swap the SCM for the Trigger Riots. list a BUNCH of stuff on Muffs.

annnnnd MAN the BitBox is awesome. so much fun as a sampler. but being able to load the SynthBox and FXBox? DELICIOUS.

i'm grab another and keep it as an FXBoxer. because that thing. is FUN.

.... if they ever.... come back.... online....

Excellent point re: the Quadratt, I have a 1u blindspot, lol. Sorry I have no clue what's up with your Disting.
