I like twin pedals more when they don't have independent circuits.

Lately I've been playing my flat-strung P effectless into a SS (okay, it has a tube) amp. I think it sounds better than mah toobs amp. I also would like to get a different cab for use with that toobz amp though.

If I ever make a post about how great tort guards are, someone, please just mailbomb me.

Yesterday one of my best friends told me that he thinks now I have become so cynic that I should write a book. He said he doesn't think i am depressed but that now I have that cool and fucked up worldview of a tried and true pessimist.

once this period of my life is sorted, i'm going to get as drunk as Charles Bukowski and cry my fucking eyes out. just to get it out. i've had to keep it in and hold it together so everything didn't go to hell, but once it's settled i'm going to give myself a day to spend falling apart.

I've grown cynical about cynicism.

I'm trying to be less cynical.

I feel guilty buying things off B/S/T when I could buy them from the builders here and support them directly.

i'd have felt guilty about it if i weren't on unemployment. so i tell everybody how great the stuff is so hopefully they'll buy them. everybody buy a Tone Reaper. and a Sound Shank if he starts making them again.

I've been feeling like that, so I've been buying more stuff direct. Hey, I just checked and 5/8 pedals on my board (and 3/5 from ILF builders) I bought from the builder or a proper retailer. I guess I'm doing well at that?

I hate when someone says "x band sucks," instead of "I don't like x band," thereby pissing off anyone who does like them.

i pretty much equate those statements in my head. i'll still sometimes argue (not really argue, discuss?) on a 'i don't like x band' though.

I'm anxiously waiting for my Pharaoh to be sent out and wonder if it can bring me the wall of fuzz type of sound heard on Neurosis records... also that fuzzy high gain stuff (if stacked with properly) heard on Isis records...

next time i'm going to start a thread called "How to get that Muse sound" jeez
