Got to meet Christian and Will last night. Not much time to talk as a showed up basically right as Whores had to setup. Will ran Whores mercy so as they were breaking down I chatted him up a bit more. Nicest guy. Had a sweet Alice Cooper shirt. Wanted to anecdotally tell him about the time Alice Cooper was my first concert. Didn't have the opportunity. Failed to say goodbye to Christian because my wife called me twice in a row and I was wondering wtf would she call me for because it was already 1 a.m. in Michigan and my wife crashes way early.

MIDWEST MINI DOOM ROOM MEETUP

Anyway.
Fucking hell. Whores was great. Can't believe the amount of energy those guys have. Seem to be having the fucking best time in the world when they're up there. And CHRIST ALMIGHTY. That Esquire sounds heavy as all fuck. Moral of the story -- go see Whores when they come through your hood.

Thanks so much dude. Pleasure to meet you.

I haven't got to play it through my rig yet because both of my heads are at the practice space but it feels great in my hands. The neck is very nice, probably what I'd call a Les Paul neck that is Fender scale. Really comfortable. When standing up the body feels just like my SG so I can say that I am going to dig this guitar a lot. If the pickups suck I'll end up throwing a Duncan in the bridge and call it a day. The guitar resonates pretty loud unplugged though so that is a good sign. And the finish isn't as flamed as I thought it would be so that is good. I like a slightly figured plain top and this is just about there for me. I got this for about half of what they usually run so I figured it'd be an easy flip if I didn't like it but I think this one will be a keeper.

Dude that guitar is gorgeous!!! Congrats!!!! As previously stated the flame and burst job are top notch without being overbearing.

MXR style would look good on it and cheap enough for production purposes.

Yeah there is a few ILF bros in N.S.W. Don't know if they are into doom. But fuzz lovers none the less. And we are all related here on the fuzzy family tree.

I have it on good authority that Will has something amazing brewing.

That would certainly be sweet as hell.
