some days--the ones i don't want to take the Eva Braun pill--i just want to say Fuck Other Musicians and dedicate myself to playing one-person 'gaze/Crazy Horse shit with my huge pedalboard and a DAT with backing tracks.

i figure if i play loud enough and the backing tracks are complex enough nobody will be able to tell.

I think about gear too much.

Just got done reconfiguring my pedlulz and set up my bass a while before that. Now it's like "okay! ........................"
Messing with the gear is the easy part and takes up a lot of time that could be put to better use.

I'm a little bit bothered by the fact that I'm more active in the Liquor Thread than in the beer threads... sooo that means I just skip the weak stuff and get straight to the hard shit?
oh- and to join the conversation: I can't play guitar at all...

I LIKE my noisy, sloppy guitar playing. It's fun and I love how it sounds. Although I can do more intricate playing when required (still not very fancy), I pretty much never do because it's less fun.

Yep, that's where I am, as well. I mean I don't sit down and practice, I just play. It feels good.
