Ax, that's pretty awesome. Gimp is great. I use gimp a lot for work, but mostly for figure making. Wish I knew how to do photo editing like that.

it's becoming easier the more I play with it. Google has been my friend

Gimp's not super intuitive, but once you get a few things down, it's fast and seems to do everything I would want it to, I have not met a limitation of an idea yet, but I'm still getting into it. I'd like to get to the point where I can do some decent flier art.
Edit: also should say, that idea isn't mine, I just wanted to do one with a better photo that made the perspective look a little better. I'm thinking this would work better if the one in the foreground was smaller....

Mars/Dopesmoker pic is very rad.
Coastal NC is getting a dusting of snow tomorrow, which means fucking everything is going to be shut down. Snow day riffs will be had. And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

I know D.o.S. just saw them but holy shit.
Just saw SWANS. Fucking incredibly loud.
Power juiced and went out 15-minutes in. They came back and played for a solid 2 hrs and 45 minutes after that. Pretty incredibly. Hypnotic. Walls of sound. I don't know.
Amazing while being relaxing and then abrasive. Definitely a good show. Check the tour out if you can.
As far as all goes as planned I'll be catching Whores on Saturday in Chicago. Shaping up to be a sweet week.

Yeah my rough estimate was ~6 songs over two and a half hours. They reminded me a little bit of the Disco Biscuits in the first half of their set, which was a very, very strange phenomenon.
I didn't think they were that loud while it was happening, but I was pretty far back from the stage so it was mostly PA. The opener was pretty awesome, too.

Do any of you guys hold your shits as long as possible while on the road? Truck stops and hole in the wall clubs aren't anywhere that I wanna drop a dook. I can feel the Ebola enter my butthole the instant I feel the back splash. I've shit so much since i've been home that I can breathe easier.

I have to be at home to shit...i cant stand thinking about sitting on seat that i dont know who else has been on before. Its fucking sickening to think about.
On the odd occasions that ive had to...ive put paper towels on the seat and a bunch in the bowl to stop splashback.
