You know what's awesome? When you're shitty online class fucks up your upload while your not looking and now only 1 of the assignments you submitted got through.

I signed up for some online classes last semester and dropped them immediately after.

Everyone I know used to be so fun, but they started doing drugs and now they're booooooooooooooooooooring.

I ended up skipping bonnaroo this year because I just didn't have anyone I wanted to go with that could afford/wanted to go. Last year I ended up doing spending the majority of the time by myself and/or missing half of every show because of them...

Drugs are stupid. >.> In a "I totally support their use if you can do them without becoming boring" sorta way.

Just got back from a party (if you can even call it that) with some people I used to love to hang out with and who were always so much fun, only to find that they're perpetually fucked up on something, extremely boring, and verging on pathetic.

WHY AM I ALWAYS THE ONLY SOBER ONE.

My coworker was just telling me that, over the weekend, a buddy of his bought a vintage Jazzmaster at a yard sale for $100.
This is the same guy that also bought a vintage Jaguar from some spoiled rich jerk for $150.
And this guy has no idea what he has other than it's a Fender.

over the years i've observed that most people (NOTE: QUALIFIER "most") into drugs other than marijuana are more into drugs than they are into anything else, and thus it gets rather boring unless you're into their drug of choice. this is particularly true of folks who are into hard drugs, whose whole life becomes organized around their preferred substance, and most so of stimulant users, whose whole mental process gets taken over by the drug effect and derailed into a constant hamster-wheel of fight-or-flight loop that's impossible to break into or keep up with. if you want to experience true tedium in concert with apparent action, spend an evening taking cocaine with a couple of habitual users and "enjoy" the conversation as y'all blither endlessly away about NOTHING until their supply of the drug is exhausted. it'll be like a Charlie Sheen concert. psychedelics people are more bearable when they're not using, but tend to long, long spiels on the kind of illusory notional stuff that sounds visionary when you're young and high but sounds sad and naive when you've long since come down. i actually really like junkies when they're not in total nod mode...most junkies are self-medicators, so when they're lucid they're pretty normal people and the ones i've known are intelligent, funny people who were horribly broken and stumbled on the worst possible way to cope. but then, i've been fortunate in that when i knew junkies i was penniless and treated them like a bro, so they didn't steal from me even though they stole e.g. my/their other roommates blind.

Trade him a telecaster, if he knows as little about it as you let on, he'll probably take it.

He only goes for american Fenders, which is the only reason he bought the Jag and JM (and a Mustang too).
All he really plays are strats.
