so cooper sounds like a reverb

my bank account dreads the sound of a new Fairfield Circuitry arrival, whatever it may be....
The sound clip from back in October sounded like a pitch-shifted warbly delay type thing, and I
think it's likely the same pedal as the layout seems the same, so I don't know. I feel like it may be a reverb at heart with some wacky tricks. The "long, dark hallway" thing seems a bit on the nose if it's just a reverb, but who knows?

haha - I have reverb on the brain. I didn't think it was really possible for reverb to grab my interest at this point, and suddenly Draume, Rooms, Light Pedal, Hypersleep, Context 2, CBA/Meris ultrajawn...erm, Afterneath v3. Like throwing yet another reverb on that pile would even help pull me out of shutdown mode

I still haven't gotten around to trying out the Atmosphere....
This was supposed to be my year'o'flange

Definitely seems like a lot of builders are on the reverb train atm.

I should have seen it coming. I'm already strategizing ways to make them all undesirable

i briefly had an Interstellar Overdrive Deluxe which had the worst workmanship i've ever seen in a pedal. there were literal threads of solder coming from some of the joints where the iron had been pulled away from the board while they were still drying.

I've heard that DBA has done a great job improving the quality of their work in the last few years, but I've never been willing to commit money to test that theory. The horror stories combined with how expensive they can be has warned me off.
I'm excited for the Inspired by Gibson Epiphone line, but I was hoping for a goldtop P90 edition. Hopefully next year.

i saw a Wildkat with Firebird PUs on the Gretsch forum that had piqued my interest. the "Uptown Kat" has a trapeze tailpiece, so you can slap a Bigsby on there and Bob's your uncle; you could Neil Young all day long. my old one was well-made, but those 11k P90s were nuts.

better yet, they've brought back the actual Firebird. stop tailpiece, but still.

After five and six years respectively Borderlands Granular and Samplr both updated within a week of each other. My old favorite iOS apps aren't dead! I can finally start recommending them again after calling them abandonware for so long.
