Should I do it still? Thoughts?
Is it the regular dx or the 16?

Fair take, whoismarykelly.

Jwar, go for it. Ez flip if you don't like it.

The DX16 is def cool although I rarely use it in a mode that takes advantage of all that time. I think my DX16 is usually in the auto mode nowadays and the other two on my board do random time and pitch down. $600 is a fuck ton of money with all the more affordable stuff on the market. A Tensor does a lot of what a Revolver does for half that much money.

Yeah I would go for it! I have the 16 and I like it a lot.

I can see this and I can also see what UC is saying and Cant.

I never jived properly with the DX but I think it's because I just didn't allow myself to get the mileage out of it I wanted. I totally agree though that it's a fuck ton of money. I am also not sure I'd use everything it's capable of either. The looper with more time is attractive to me, but like you said Tensor or other pedals. Sigh. I need to do some hard thinking here. LOL. The money thing is really really making it hard. I don't Piotr would care if I backed out either as he usually has a backlog of people wanting the stuff.

Damnit. lol. Why can't things be cheaper! :) I definitely could most likely get most of my money back in a flip or a stellar trade.

Thanks for all the input! I'm going to think on it for a bit. I've got until Monday, so that gives me some time at least.

The flip thing isn't really worthwhile on a ReVolver because they're so expensive to start with. Someone buys a Fabrikat for $300 and flips it for $700. That's a lot of profit. ReVolvers sell all day for $500 on Reverb and costs $485 to get a regular DX. I'd buy it because you want it because the flip potential isn't there for those. The extra loop time is really cool for the ping pong mode and the modes where you're manipulating the speed. If you're a real hands-on looper kind of guy you'll find a way to use the extra time. I personally tend to use other gear for those tasks.

I agree with these thoughts especially on being able to flip it, I mean you'll probably be able to get what you paid back out of it as it is a limited release but there aren't likely many people that know about it that aren't getting one and I don't see selling a pedal like that for much more than $600.

I am on the fence too Jwar, I have a reVOLVER II, and I did have the DX at one time and loved a couple of the different features but I don't know if the extra loop time is something I will find useful enough to warrant the cost, $600 is a lot for any pedal, I guess I would pay that for Piotr's Spacetime Resonator if I could convince him to sell me that, but I've tried and that isn't happening! $600 warrants a one of a kind pedal or something you will never find and nothing can do what it does. The DXL sounds cool but I am certainly on the fence too as $600 is a lot of coin for that pedal IMO.

Yea, I wasn't really looking to flip for a profit or anything, just considering a resale down the road. Honestly, I'm ok with it not retain all the value. I don't expect that at all.

The revolver is a killer pedal and I want to give my money to Piotr, I just guess I didn't realize it'd be 600 bucks. I should have. It's a hard, hard choice. LOL! I could use a Pigtronix Infinity (or similar looper) right now and I want the Hexe. One I will use all the time and is less money, the other I just want and may or may not dig it.

I feel bad when I ask him to put me on his list and turn it away. Makes me feel like I'm fucking with his business. So, in a way I feel obligated even if I'm not. I know he'll sell it, but I just...I dunno. Does that make any sense?

I'm going to see if I can come up with the money without a CC by the end of the week (Sunday) and if I can't, I'll pass it down the line.

Does anyone want my spot if I do that?

Pretty sure he will be able to sell it to the next person on the list no problem,if that's your main concern. That's how I got my Revolver a few months early, at least.

In Cloudy news, Tom is sending me a firmware update to test out. It's only an input volume boost fix, but it's nice to see him already working on it and taking feedback to heart. Fingers crossed for presets next!

Feedback on my takes at the end of this long ass video

Updates are done by playing the pedal an audio file, btw. :animal:

It is but also, I feel like a shit heal anytime I ask to be on a list and I have to turn the product down.

I've thought about about this all week and unless someone buys a bunch of my stuff, it's just not going to happen. It's cool though!!! I probably should wait until I have the cash on hand to bother these guys. That would make much more sense.

I'm in the same spot bro, pedal rich and cash poor, haven't gotten a reply from Piotr yet but I am not certainly not financially prepared for this either, I feel like it is coming faster than honestly expected. I don't see it happening for me either unless I unload some pedals!
