Yeah, good stuff indeed :animal: .
I just listened to everything once but I'll spend more time listening to it later...

For my track : I put all the samples in my Radio Music module in the modular and sequenced it/played with it by turning knobs and pushing buttons so I'm not sure of whose samples I used :). I recorded two tracks on my EHX 22500 like this, one based on the drum samples and another based on something with more melodic content (processed through chorus/reverb/overdrive), and then played live using both of these tracks and another one using mostly a nice bassy/almost pansonic-style sound (I'll have to check who made that one). A number of other sounds were used briefly in the last part of the track but once again I'm not sure of whose samples they are.

Is this up yet?

+1 I really want to hear this
I would also love to compare to the original samples, but I understand if those don't get posted

No worries, just asking. Life is busy. :snax:

Would also be fine if you wanted to post my original samples.

Sweet! Stoked to see it up on BC :!!!:

Finally opened my project back up — samples I used:

Main pad sound: DoS Sample 1. Two versions, one trimmed for faster attack.
Kick: Spacelord Sample 2
Flam/clacky sound that pops up every couple of measures: ProCarsten2Bar...
Main jangle/tambourine-ish sound: ProCarsten2Bar...
Melody: Jrmyechobent01

I manipulated everything through this great sampler I found called Bliss (http://www.discodsp.com/bliss/). It was on sale for about $60 for a while there, so keep an eye out for them to do a promotion again if you're interested. It's got a nicely simple interface and some pretty cool programmable macros. It can also sample other VSTs, which I didn't do this time around. I mainly enjoyed using its sample editor and really fun filter section.

Beyond that, recorded in Logic. Employed some manual doppler effects by duping tracks and shifting slightly here and there, plus an assortment of plugins: Ringshift, UAD API Vision, UAD EMT Plate 140, UAD EL7 Fatso Jr, Kush Audio UBK-1.

Toughest thing was getting a kick sound that I liked. Another challenge that ended up being sort of a happy accident: the "flam" sound that pops up ever little bit will sometimes sound off, depending on what you're listening to. The kick pulls one way and the lead tambourine-y sort of sound pulls another. I messed with it a bit but ultimately decided to keep that weird tension in there.

To master the tracks, I duplicated every track and inverted the phase in one. Complete cancelation so that even when you're listening to the album, it's exclusive enough that you can't hear the album.

Should be online around 8pm EST (GMT -5), just need titles from some people -- if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you. And also I accidentally deleted Osc.'s description of his track when I was clearing out my PM box :(

Messages received. Wound up spending the weekend away from the internet, but the album art and general liners are done, so now all that remains is uploading each track.
