She is just the best... this is an old one but a good one... less about 'music' and more about 'logistics'. Tfw no Liz in ur lyfe

Her voice in combination with her music in the background makes this feel like a self-contained track to me.

Great find $harkToootth! Thanks for posting this... I love her guitar / reverb / voice and it's the first time I've heard an audio recording of her speaking. That track led me to a duet between her and Ilyas Ahmed who also plays rather magnificently.

@moid - Happy you enjoyed it m8. I've read... pretty much every interview she has ever done... but I think I've only heard her actually speak twice.
Fun fact... one of her favorite reverb plug ins is one on Sound Forge.
EDIT: Also moid, this is the other instance of actually hearing her speak if you're interested https://marfapublicradio.org/blog/west- ... s-grouper/

Thanks very much! It's a shame she hasn't had any audio interviews since...
Haha Soundforge - I started out making ambient electronic tracks in the late 90s with Soundforge, having to make multiple copies of every track because it could only handle one track at a time with no layering... I recently found that CD and played it to my son... he wasn't impressed and said "at least you got better!"
He's right, but ouch!
