I know right! The worse part is if I do end up getting them my OCD is gonna force me to get a matching snare.... they make a badass 14x8 aluminum snare that I'd have to find a way to swing as well... :yay:

I hadn't heard of them before so I googled them. I'm curious as to why you want one of their snares other than aesthetic reasons?

the stave construction, the way they've sounded when i've played them (i've played two and have heard 6 shows with them being used.)

and it doesn't hurt that the guy who builds them is one of my favorite drummers.

Well they look to be very well made and built drums, and if you've personally played and liked them then I can see why you would want one. How much do they run on average? and whose the drummer that builds them?

Birch wood, decent tone, lots of unnecessary hardware on the shells. Not bad if dirt cheap or immaculate condition.

Incorrect..... having had a few different Bonham size kits theres two to DEFINITELY avoid.... Ludwig Accent (they just sound like utter shit IMO, and I toured with one for a while...) and Gretsch Club Rock (you gotta upgrade the hoops or they go out of tune, ALOT).

They Key to a Bonham size kit is the 14" rack tom, the 13 doesnt gel anywhere near as much yet thats what every new kit maker that makes these types of kits uses.....
