ahh, you're right, but then in the mode where it's repeats only, there is no separate wet level, so it's a different sort of balancing act. not necessarily a criticism, but one of its quirks

Got a degrader in as a trade and it has been quite some fun wrapping my head around the controls. Once I got there this guy has been a quite fun delay. Will it permanently kick off the sunny day delay I'm not sure yet but its been fun so far. Good work dude!

Same. Just got one in a trade and it's awesome. I still need to spend a few hours tasting all the features and getting to know it, but I love how easy it is to make subtle beauty or more forward, obvious noises that are still musical.

Got mine recently and completed the trifecta. This thing is awesome. I'm still discovering new possibilities. Looks great next to my Rm1n and 4046m as well ;)

Just messing around with the Echo Degrader, felt compelled to say again how much I love this pedal. So musical. Such a deep and rewarding pedal.

Just received my echo degrader from an ilf member today and picked up an rm-1n from another fuzzy last week. I wish I had considered these more seriously when I started buying up pedals. They're the most rewarding pieces of equipment I own and I can't wait to keep experimenting with them, but they're already helping me attain tones and sounds I've been reaching for for a long time. Thanks for making such weird, versatile boxes. If they were the only two things I was allowed to have on my board I think I'd be mostly content (I would miss my fuck overdrive though)

Just received my echo degrader a couple weeks ago and i am absoultly loving it! I would love to see some of the others users patch settings and expamples. i will post some after I explore a bit more. I have a question regarding the Audio filters on board. When changing from bypass mode to engaging the echo degrader I notice The unit cuts off some of the Higher frequencies(currently feeding it synths when i notice it). Is this by Design? Not a deal breaker at all.

Again, a lovely device.

Holy shit, I finally got an Echo Degrader and I absolutely regret not grabbing one sooner. Fucking incredible!

I've had this pedal for more than 2 years now and it still stumble regularly into those WOW moments where I just keep on playing the same note over and over, getting lost in the beautiful things the Echo Degrader does to that single note.
Here's just a short example that got recorded by chance.

I just gotta say this thing is pure magic. I was uncertain about it at first, but now I love it and I find something new every time I plug it in. I recently discovered a setting that would create a fake whammy sound on the repeats when I pick hard (like striking with the whammy down and then pulling it up as the notes ring). I was just playing with that same setting and I decided to lay on the momentary footswitch and it changed E V E R Y T H I N G - that switch thrusts your sound into full on chaos mode, like a tape delay whose motor caught fire or something.
I can't wait to get my hands on more Industrialectric stuff now

Just got a used one of these. Sounds pretty damn awesome.

However, I'm having a couple problems. Noticed the degrade knob was scratchy. Is there any way of getting behind the board to clean the pot? Unless it's supposed to be like that?

Also, regarding the degrade knob: I'm only getting noticeable changes between 7 and bout 7:30-7:45. The rest is the same. If 7:45->5:00 changes the sound in any way at all, I'm not noticing it. Is it supposed to be like this?

I just notice in this vid there's changes in the degredation of the repeats from 10:00-10:30 downwards. This isn't like my own one, which is no change all the way up to 7:45, then large changes with only very small knob adjustments beyond that point:

I dunno - Maybe I just need to play around with it abit more to notice the subtleties of the changes above 7:45ish? I can record a video if you think I should?
