Lately I really want a good tremolo or some really cool rhythm-based effect like it. Maybe a LaoWiz Gristleizer's in order...

Also, this:

Gristleizer is great for weirdo whacked out trem sounds. Post apocalyptic tremolo!

I think I'd be happy with a pickguard that fits the fucking project guitar I've been working on all day. And a baritone neck. Yes.

Looks like I've got a Drone Commander coming inbound. Gas'ing for a DD7 again. I just need to duct tape the next one i get to the wall, I apparently just can't get rid of them.

i miss having a second head. we played an awesome show last night and i was sitting there thinking, damn these guitars sound good. but i couldn't help but remeber how awesome it was when i had a second head with a separate dirt chain going. i'm miles from being able to afford one and i just can't figure out what to get. i keep coming close to trying to buy a v4, which i love, but then i can't help but think there might be something better. i got as far as bringing a v4 i was thinking of buying to practice with me. it was awesome and i played half the practice just through it to get a feel for it. then i plugged in my amp, an old jmp, and played throught just that for a while, and i was all, shit, this marshall sounds awesome. i just like it better. problem is i already had a second marshall and sold it cause i thought it would be cooler to have two amps that were a bit more different from each other.

Thanks, that's pretty tempting too. It looks like you'd be essentially building the Fairfield Operator but for half the cost?
Although, I really like the size of the Operator and I like Fairfield in general too :idk:
The Chk Chk Boom isn't much more than that though, but it seems less useful to me.

Get one. The Gristleizer does such lovely fucked up things. If I could only take one pedal for some weird fictional reason, that's the one I take. Jero built me one in a Wah enclosure that control the speed. You miss out on a great looking LaoWiz etch, but it's just so much damn fun.

So glad you're still using that! One of the hardest pedals to let go of, after I built it and realized how bad ass it was. I really need to build myself another.
