how do you guys like the new album? I think it's alright. Some songs are cool, some are pretty boring

same here really. i need to spend more time with it, the overall vibe was kinda unimpressive to me at first but i think it will grow on me. i think i was just a bit thrown off with all the guitar tracks, not sure how well it suits them.

FUN FACT: Nick Reinhart called me to say I couldn't release parts of his interview because of Death Grips spoilers.

From a link in there:
I'm not sure Death Grips' music was the most salient part of who they were.
Nailed it?

yeah I could agree with that. I would have wanted something else for them on a selfish and idealistic level.

I'm planning to go to either the Atlanta or the New Orleans show with some friends, if they don't show up who cares, fun roadtrip.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I've been finally trying to listen to Death Grips lately
I think it has the same quality as reading about murderers, paranormal phenomena and urban legends. That scary/unpleasant yet fascinating aspect. I don't know what to think of the music, i mean... it's very unusual and unconventional, so it's hard to judge it by any standards. But it's still fascinating.
