Whoa.

I'm not usually a fan of "naked wood" looking guitars, but that is friggin' GORGEOUS! Nice work, MM!

very nice...i usually never like classy looking guitars (more of a classic trash guy) but that is fine as fine can be.
the shape is freakin great.

Thank you.
The shape is actually comfortable to play, even sitting down.
Well for me anyway, my leg just happens to fit the lower cut out.
I made my daughter a 4 string like it and my son a guitar version.
they have maple tops though.
Coco Bolo can be a pain, it's very oily so finishing can be a problem.
It polishes to a beautiful finish if one is willing to spend the time.
I'd love to have fretboard made of it, but a lot of people have an allergic reaction when working with it, so I haven't found any neck makers who will do it for me.
Maybe they don't believe in suffering for your art (ok really mine).

i know les pauls don't get mucha love around here but here's my old stand by rock machine.
it's a 56 TV picked up in a pawn shop quite a few years ago. back when you could actually get deals at pawn shops...i had to change machine heads as the other crumbled, but other than that, it's all original.

it sounds like it eats meat and is very hungry.
