just watched the new Sherlock Holmes movie. meh. the first one was horrible, this was...... just ok. not bad, kinda boring. my brother's a HUGE fan of the original books, so he was almost having paroxysms of rage.

Brian: I know it's a super fuzz, but it seems to have some tasty low gain according to your demo.
If you turn the texture and the fuzz down, can you get a semi-clean octave up effects similar to the FuzzHugger(fx) Phantom Arcade (right side)?

hmmmm. good question...
i don't think you can get anything "clean" out of it, but i'll see what i can muster tomorrow and record a quick clip if it seems worthwhile.

sooooo i'm going to go with a "no". with the gain down and the texture down you get a really ratty, raspy overdrive/fuzz type thing.
the octave doesn't really work with both controls down as well - either one needs to be turned up somewhat to get octave-ing.
