Wow :!!!:
Looks like a lot of fun (but lots of work).

So this will probably be released before the end of the year?

Any idea when the next RRR finish is coming out?

Any news on the price? Like, super ballpark, even?

Also, do you think it can cop some flanger sounds?

Thanks :)

It works! The build is great, no big flubs, every section is dialed in pretty darn nicely too. Since this is my first fully functioning prototype I'll take some time now to fine tune and tweak certain sections.. making sure various feedback and filter caps aren't too high a value will be my first tweaks, to make sure the circuit is as bright as can be but as noise-free as can be too, it's a balancing act that's hard to do on a breadboard. I'll do pics etc later but I'm really happy with this prototype, finally!

Muse-man, this sucker will be available this summer.. this prototype has gotten us much closer to a ready Cosmi. I'll fine tune and tweak it now, possibly won't even have to do another proto round, finalize the component values and shop for quotes, get a perfect box drilled and start the enclosure production, it'll come together nicely now and we'll make some real steps forward.

The next RRR finish is probably gonna ship this week.. the red sparkle tv finish... gonna look awesome!

Andy, I think this Cosmi will be over $250 but less than $350.. I know that's a big ballpark... I think 3 bills but not much more... it'll depend on the production quotes and I just don't know yet how expensive this assembled pcb will be since I've never done one so big and complicated.

The Cosmi can cop some subtle flanger sounds but nothing full on, it just barely dips into that territory. And thank you!

Couple teaser pics...

There's only one layout flub.. right behind the input jack there's a transistor that I had to fold over to get out of the way of the square protrusion on the back of the jack... dumb mistake but considering all my previous proto flubs, I'm pretty happy with this layout!

So now I'll tweak and experiment and push certain sections to find their noise limits...

I have never been so excited by a bare metal enclosure.. :!!!:

Is there an ETA on the finished product? A preorder list I can jump on? Take my money!
