Mizuna is expensive compared to most restaurants, especially if you start ordering beer, wine or cocktails.

Congrats on the bar backing job LifeH20. Keep those ice bins filled and the glasses clean and stocked and you'll be golden. Hopefully your bartenders and waitress tip out,..so that will be a little extra coin. If anything a free beer or two is always nice.

Not trying to play the dad role here but if it suits you; think about getting your permit to serve liquor (if your area requires) and learn all that you can from your bartenders and you could potentially pick up shifts pouring drinks or even just pitch in and help out if the bartenders start getting swamped. The most valuable employees in the food service industry are those that are willing to go above and beyond (provided that they are working for an establishment that appreciates hard work and treats their employees well).

that is like cheap compared to australia
its like double mizuna prices if im feeling fancy
at those prices we would eat yall restaurant dry, we roll large and with a pittless gut :joy:

Today, I paid $3.33 for lunch.

Did this involve three tacos?

Fer'reals, that's great to hear, homefry. I assume things are going well on the looking-forward front?

as well as can be expected, i reckon...i'm still sad, but i'm hanging in there. Kim's supposed to come over with movers tomorrow to remove her stuff from the house and property; then there'll be some shared-property-division kind of stuff that'll need to be dealt with, and it'll hopefully be over. my friend Dan has gotten his bass and is practising, and says he should be here within a month or so. i've largely gotten back to my unhappy/depressed/unemployed baseline from before she left, but still have great miserable lapses into grief at times. thirteen years is a long time to be with someone and then lose them, even if they've been slipping away for four years.

I recently realized music can and should be fun.

Fuck major scales though, still, unless they're being used as relative minors.

There are parts of the US where fucking relative minors is not only allowed, but encouraged.

You know, the parts where you find family stumps instead of family trees.

My lord. Music is all about the sexual acts society frowns upon.

Dude like i know australia has socialized medicine and jobs and reallt cheap tertiary education for citizens and generally good stuff like kangaroo meat but i want cheap and dank food. It's amazing how $20 can be spent on food here you can get total shitty fish and chips or pizza from dominos (somehow american dominos is beters) or like fucking amazing shit like amazingly cheap indian food that is awesome. Like i dont get how there is no cheap tasty baseline food. like tacobell or chipolte or actually any type of mexican food that doesnt suck unless you find a good restaurant. There seems to be a higher quality of food but like you need to know where to go and not guess. Also good places arent always more expensive and sometimes are cheaper than shitty places. Why are these shitty places open GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Are you from Englandland Mazzy?

For the record,...Dominos sucks,....hard (Although I've never had Englandland Dominos).
