Next week will be a big building week and weekend. :yay:

What trannies did you get for the MKIII? The 2N404's are the sweetest I've ever tried.

Yup the 2N404s. If you are going to do something, you may as well do it right the first time.

I'm angry that that Juno-106 was in such shitty condition, so I bought a Koma BD-101. At least that's how I'm justifying it.

He must be operating at a level that is sustaining his business, there must be more demand than he is able to supply so he marks up his pedals to slow things down while still getting the income he needs. Maybe if things slow down/he is able to catch up and fulfill orders in a timly manner his prices will reflect that.

Wow dude I want a bd-101 so bad. They seem absolutely awesome. I would've put dibs on flip if I wasn't in f*ing Sweden

First catch in Tokyo. Can't live long without an instrument, the Pocket Piano is everything I've ever wanted in a synth. :joy:

Edit: Hm, image doesn't seem to appear. Stupid smartphone. Anyway, I got a pocket piano and a MASF Thornoscillator. :!!!:

I'll tell you what I have anti-GAS for: anything from Midnight Amplification Devices. Dude is deleting posts of dissatisfied buyers from his Shark Tank noting that:

- He takes about four months to send pedals with no communication, and makes excuses instead of just taking responsibility
- Pretty much only sends pedals once you have filed a Paypal dispute
- Lies about when he ships pedals

I guess the only good thing is that of the half dozen ILFers I've been in touch with, everyone gets their shit eventually, it's just like pulling teeth to even get a fucking response. So note that I'm not calling this dude a scam artist or ripoff, just stating he is not being transparent. And in the end who gives a shit, they're just pedals, right?

I don't know Nic personally, maybe he's a great guy in real life. But I think it's pretty disrespectful to take money from people then just leave them hanging, make excuses when called out, and offer them hollow gestures like a discount instead of just owning up to being overwhelmed with orders or whatever the case, while listing new pedals and promising a delivery time of two weeks when others have been waiting four months.

Maybe this is bad form and I am usually pretty drama-averse, but deleting posts of dissatisfied buyers is pretty weak.

Wow, the Nic guy cleared everything out, that's super lame, I dunno but you could get Tom in on it?

I agree, but it's his shark tank. He can censor it how he sees fit. :idk: You don't have to like it, I don't have to like it, but people should at least know what they're getting into.

I won't buy a pedal from him now (probably wouldn't've anyways), but apparently I'm easily butthurt.

I think it goes against the way we tend to do things here on ILF to be honest and I won't even think of buying a pedal from him anymore.

Check for the only rule we have.

What was it again?

Well, he has the moon in his logo and stuff so I hope he's really only just mooning us, half a moon anyway. :p
But yeah, things ain't funny, especially since the reactions where already quite nuanced given the circumstance.
