lol. at my house, just my little brother. occasionally. i just got boredededed with this one. not a Hipster OH MER GERD IT'S SO POPULAR Now thinger, this iteration just didn't grab me as much.
the almost complete customization for loadouts is cool and all. i guess. i dunno. i think MW2 was the one i spent the most time on. it's upgrade paths and stuff you had to do to unlock things kept me hooked and prestiging all over the place. murrrrrrrr.
lol. probably better it DIDN'T sink it's teeth into me this time. been really busy with other stuff. havna really games much lately.

Military-themed shooters just don't do it for me, usually.

Same here. I have alot of friends that bust a nut over those games. I just don't enjoy them as much as the other stuff I play.

Me either. I generally don't like playing online either. A lot of my friends can't even begin to understand how I'm 'a gamer' but don't jerk off about the newest Call of Duty games.

Re: The Video Game thread
for sure. i'd usually way rather play something odd like Shadows Of Colossus or Catherine or such. i like fps's, but more wacky or sci-fi is bettah. or Borderlands. mein gott do i love me some Borderlands.
but CoD when it first hit and added the really streamlined shooter to an upgrade rpg style path? SO much fun. it's a little boring now though.

Has anyone bought a wiiU? Or put in more than a few hours at a friends house? Cool or no? I haven't even touched one. Kinda lame gamestops here don't have a demo station.

Re: The Video Game thread
i have one. i played the new Mario for a bit before i got stoopid busy and haven't gamed much.
it's a'ight. the big controllers are not really anything special yet. sometimes i use it to lay on the couch facing away from the tv as a handheld to run Mario, other than that, just big and clunky. 'm curious how they'll implement it as time goes on though.
no recommendations for kinda deep awesome ass 'Pad games?
murrrrrrrr?

Just had what would have been a really crappy game of LoL, but the enemy team was super cool, we won, and I just made me a friend. I think I've actually broken my stupid losing streak.

maybe you already know this, so my apologies if I come off like a doucher or anything....but that's from at least 2009, and it's not an actual trailer for any movie currently in production. at least as far as I'm aware.

Deep? Ehhhhh zenonia? I dunno. I didn't really dig any of them.
Squids Wild West. Do it.
Cthulhu Saves the World is cheap enough for me to wanna check out.
Square enix has a lot of expensive iOS versions of great games.
But seriously. Squids Wild West.

That Mortal Kombat video is actually from a web series that was released a couple years ago. Not sure how many episodes they made, but it was pretty cool.
