No exaggeration this is how I read every post on Muffwiggler in my head.

I just learned about that PedalboardPlanner site so I did a mock to try and figure out what size board I'm going to upgrade to in the next few months. This is all my current pedals and what I think is the best order to run them (due to restrictions this isn't quite how I run them currently). I had to do some MS paint editing for pedals they didn't have on there/adding cables. I'll probably have room to accommodate 1 or 2 more that I'll likely acquire. Any thoughts or critiques? There's certain pedals that are near eachother because I have to switch between them in a rush. I won't be making moves on this for a while this just seemed fun. Sorry if I should've put this in a different thread.

I think you're going to have to have both ends of the pedals laying on a crossbeam. Right now it looks like they're precariously straddling a single bar. So, as they lay on there now, they'd wobble a lot when you stomp on them. After fixing that, I think you could go with a smaller board, or you could fit another row of stuff up at the top?

Thanks for the tip, I've never used a pedaltrain before (not positive that's what I'll buy...open to suggestion) so yeah, the whole point of this is to get advice. I didn't really think about that with the crossbeam. I like the idea of room for an extra row

Rickendude: check out this (old) pic: you can see all the pedals are supported by two horizontal slats, or one horizontal and one vertical. You'll easily fit those pedals you want on that board, just not exactly like the planner.
I use to use a wood plank, did so for years. Sometimes I wish I still had a wood board. There's a ton of room on there for all those pedals. There should definitely be room underneath for any powersupplies, midi-splitters/adapters, cv utility stuff, etc.
It's hard to realize exactly how much room you have with a board that size. Goroth's pedalboard's an amazing example of how efficiently you can use that space! However, if you're really happy with your lineup and you get a board with tons of space, that empty space is gonna drive you nuts; dreaming of ways to fill it up.

Real cool. Seeing a live example of it definitely gave me a better idea of the actual size. I considered just building my own but I prefer the idea of the power supply easily mounted underneath/not having to drill holes for wires etc.
I'm fine with having more room to add pedals/rearrange if needed...
You guys with like 40 pedals do you use multiple power supplies? I figure I'll need that Voodoo Lab one with 12 outs

Huh. It's certainly improved from the first prototype.
