Incidental color-coordinated signal chain - those were the first three i had around without having to plug the entire board.

How do you like the Tacana? Does it feel like an amp tremolo? Any tone coloration? Any volume issue?

I like when a trem add a bit of coloration... like the Supro which have a preamp in it.

it's really well done and small packed, it has no volume issues (going past 12 o'clock the volume knob has a lot of boost if you need it) but also no coloration, it's totally transparent. Maybe a preamp would give him more character, but for what it costs is more than enough.

I must say that I'm not really into tremolos, snagged this just because the price-tag was ridicolous and i wanted to try a tremolo with more waveform options than the usual fender-style amps. Turns out i don't use it that much, realized that instead of multiple waveforms i'd find better use of a simple envelope tremolo, so if somebody wants it let me know.

I also enjoy colors. A colorful instrument makes the sounds brighter.

Absolutely love the pre-bridge pickup, is it independent from the other two?

It has its own volume-knob and a switch to choose between regular pickups/regular pickups + behind the bridge)/behind the bridge,
but they all go to the same output.

Brilliant, now I want to try it on my Guild semi-acoustic.

It's super rad, but I don't know if I would do it to a more expensive guitar(I did it on a Epiphone Sheraton II).
I added the bigsby-knockoff and put a SD Phat Cat in the bridge as well, so I love this guitar know, but it looks pretty "hack/diy".
I had to make a hole on in the back to get to the electronics as well.

For anyone interested in a less destructive method I did a similar thing by taping a £1 piezo mic to the bridge of my jaguar. Just ran the wires under the pickguard (trickier in semi-acoustic...). Works great!

That's probably a better/safer/easier/less destructive choice for my guitar
But I like ognoy's anyway.

I would rock that board so hard, with any instrument. Perfect choices!
