Does the Kongpressor have any tricks? I don't know anything about compressors, is there some value in putting them after dirt?
I don't think it has any particular tricks beyond being a compressor :idk: I got it for cleans really so the important thing is that it doesn't ruin the sound when I turn on the dirt. Which it seems not to. As for the order I just haven't got round to trying it before yet lol. Which would be better gain staging to avoid noise but idk how it sounds

Having tried it before the dirt today, it's probably better like that (obvs this is the correct way to do it but you never know). But the last time I had a compressor it killed my fuzz pedals, this one seems not to. No idea if it's the different compressor or the different dirt pedals but I'm happy

Yep, I wish it had made it into production... It's the best mellowtone overdrive, I've owned both versions of chans, a couple of singing trees and hi-5s and it just has so much bottom end.

Pros of doing a 1-day comeback in the office: yesterday i got the chance to spend some (lunch)time with the bakfram in a decent amp and did some sweet knob turning. :omg:

Incidental color-coordinated signal chain - those were the first three i had around without having to plug the entire board.
