NND (new neck day)!
My first maple neck! Matching headstock now! Well, mostly. It has some metallic stuff goin' on.
I had to widen the neck pocket a bit to fit it and that meant careful, surgical application of a delicate instrument. So I used a metal file that I found in the back room in my fruitless search for sandpaper. Anyway, it worked out just fine and the neck pocket's still tight.
A big thanks to Mudfuzz for saving my bass! This neck is thicker than the last one, which was kinda between the general P and J sizes. I like it. It looks much better.

That looks cool! Yeah a bunch of 80's necks from asian origin are what is called a B sized neck [J = A, P = C] which I find bomb!

i cant wait to bust out some geek usa or maybe just jamm out some silverfuck?! or maybe take it slow with some mayonaise or maybe tone it done even more with a nice clean disarm??? dont buy a guitar cause your hero plays one i find this to be opposite im not really the best guitar player and playing smashing pumpkins helps me learn

Being on an extended job that puts me far from my gear, I finally managed to moved one guitar and amp to my current locale. Behold, my current set-up from the home collection...I brought my precious '63 Kay and rehoused Silvertone to the temp home.
