I've been playing the god of war: ascension beta. I don't really like god of war games but this online only multiplayer is so fucking awesome.

i dunno if it's skating a bunch as a kid, or just loving glitches and rag doll physics weird stuff, but i could watch that for HOURS.

I was never any good at the game but it never stops being fucking hilarious when you turn a corner and instantly get destroyed by oncoming traffic.
Or backwards street luge down a mile-long hill straight into a brick wall/traffic.

Skate 3 is like my favorite game ever

I thought the original ending(s) were ok but really underwhelming and brief for a series with such a rich storyline.
The choices you made throughout the 3 games seemed to have little/no impact...freedom of choice was one of the big selling points of the series so it was sorta lame to see it lead to almost the same result in the end.

They didn't really change anything, they just added more dialogue with <massive spoiler> and a narrated epilogue for each of the endings that had more of a solid resolution. It also pretty much invalidated the , which may have been a more creative way to end it, but as it stands, what we have is just fine and I honestly would have loved it without the DLC.

As far as freedom of choice goes, the other two games did the SAME EXACT THING with their endings. Mass Effect 2 gave you even LESS of a choice because the ending didn't even have a third option. And it's not like your choices were ever any deeper than "paragon or renegade".

I really want XCOM. They need to run another ridiculous sale.

Currently playing Assassins Creed 3 and Darksiders.

Recently finished Red Dead Redemption, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Uncharted 3 - all of which I highly recommend.

Skate 2, I think is just about perfect and completely added on to the previous game. Before I quit skating 3 years ago, back in 2007, Skate 1 was the greatest thing I had ever touched





Anyone else super pumped for Cyberpunk 2077? I cannot wait.

I really want to pick up Ni No Kuni, but I think I should finish one of several unfinished games before starting into a JRPG.

i've played a minimal amount of Skate 2. I found it super enjoyable also! Skate 1 blew me away. I didn't have a console so I would go to friends houses and beg them to let me play the demo. I've probably spent 50 hours on that alone haha

I also love Skate 2. Best skating game ever made.
