I've been questioning how much I need my Rusty Box now that I have an Acoustic 370. But the 370 + Rusty Box sound so sweet together.

It's cool the first time. Then it gets tedious. 20 minutes later I want to start a punch-fight. And Dobbs forbid they actually play a RHYTHM. When they do it's so dorkward and rebarrassing that you wish they'd go back to playing the art-jass.
Anyone can suck at drumming.
Speaking of avant-garde, I used to love going to open night poetry nights just to take the piss out of the bohemian crowd. I would get up on stage with a glass of water, an empty glass a toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. I would spend a couple of minutes brushing my teeth. Then spend another minute or two gargling with the mouthwash. Then I would spit it out into the empty glass. Spend another 30 seconds or so in quiet contemplation. Then I would yell gingivitis into the mic then leave the stage. Only one word and 5 minutes of wasting time pissfarting around with dental hygiene. And the funny thing was some of them would come up to me later telling me I blew thier mind with my performance. What fuckheads that crowd are. ,I can't speak for Norway but in the northeast USA (and probably the northwest too) these fucking dinks are everywhere. Find any coffee shop on a friday night and take your pick. It was original ONCE. Now it's more hacky and predictable than a screamo combover hairdo band. T

I just know I would rather listen to a Walter Weasel drum solo than a Neil Peart drum solo every time. I would rather PLAY with Walter over Neil too.D.o.S. wrote:For me, at least, this sort of performance loses a lot of the good when it becomes the nth iteration of it. Those Gotoh bridges are totally worth it! Best $40 I ever spent on my bass. My old bridge was getting all fucked up, and I definitely noticed a huge improvement putting a 201H on there. Stays in tune better, tons of sustain, and just had to screw it in no other work.Disarm D'arcy wrote:THIS WEEK'S G.A.S

Likewise, though I don't hate Rush. They have good parts in their bad songs, and bad parts in their good songs. I'm averse to lumping WW in with the café kids though. Walter can jass and blast and rock, which is something these traveling dingleboreys seem uninterested in doing.D.o.S. wrote:And there we are in 110% agreement
