Yeah, that game is awesome and the full thing is so worth it compared to the demo, there are probably 10x the parts!

So I finally beat Mass Effect 3.

I really don't get what the butthurt about the ending was. God damn it, I was crying like a baby.

Didn't they change the ending after all the backlash?

I thought the original ending(s) were ok but really underwhelming and brief for a series with such a rich storyline.
The choices you made throughout the 3 games seemed to have little/no impact...freedom of choice was one of the big selling points of the series so it was sorta lame to see it lead to almost the same result in the end.

They released an 'extended cut' ending last summer. They added a bunch more dialogue in the last part of the final mission and cut scenes to the ending to better explain it.

The options weren't that dramatic but then the endings of 1 and 2 weren't that dramatic in terms of what happened in the following games either.

Takes me back to the days of Mechwarrior 2, overheating and shutting down after a single salvo of everything at once. Good times.

Starsector formerly Starfarer. Its still in development but its shaping up to be an awesome game. I've dumped a horrendous amount of time into it so far. Its kind of like a blend of SPAZ and Mount and Blade in space.
