Reverb is awesome.
As are Phasers.

I could not for the life of me find use in phasers or any modulation for that matter. I have Delay/trem/reverb but I've been thinking of removing the trem just because I don't use it all that often.

I go something like tuner>rat>rat>digital delay>analog delay>trem>verb. I like to create spacious environments sometimes and two delays and verb help that. I used to have flangers, phasers, boosts, and a myriad of other shit, but the went downt to basics after realizing half of it didn't matter in a band context.

so whats a good reverb with a small footprint?

I love all sorts of modulation even though I don't use them a ton. I have a phaser, chorus, trem, and reverb in addition to fuzz, od, and delay.

Amazing reverb with small footprint - EQD Ghost Echo or the RRR.

No better reverb than the WET stereo reverb. So much ambience, when I drone a heavy note, it just makes it sound 100 times more ominous

Wet is awesome and takes very well to Doom and Drone.
RRR is more characterful. Also very good, especially in the plate settings. Doesn't go as deep as the WET but can be very lush nonetheless. Takes fuzz like a champ but tends to push the treble a little bit. Good for biting tones.


Others that are usually thrown around: Boost RVB, Supermoon, Spring Theory. They all have their own style and I would like to own all of them and stack 'em.


I use Phasers on very low sweep to add a little bit of internal movement to my drones. Sounds awesome I think.

it is a good idea to keep experimenting to a degree and fixing what is not broken if you think there could be an improvement, but when something works you don't have to try that hard, it just feels right.

i have an Artec Analog Delay, an Ibanez DL10 Digital Delay, a Boss DD-5 Digital Delay, an EQD Ghost Echo, and an EHX Small Stone USA.

i use a lot of delay, reverb is always on, and phaser is great, but when used in the right situations. i also have a tremolo pedal which i only use for one part in one song, so it's not on the board.

i don't have anything fancy, but it works for me.

Dr. Scientist RRR or the EQD Ghost Echo. I've yet to find better than these two, esp if the high gain is involved.

yeah, the Ghost Echo sounds awesome with distortion, and that's the main issue with most reverb pedals. i would still love to try a Subdecay ST one day though.

been listening to a bunch of reviews and its a close fight between Ghost Echo or the Subdecay.

selling some pedals and gonna buy a few pedals in the next couple of weeks...this ghost echo might knock off a dirt pedal from that list!

I use verb, delay, slow gear, synth, and sometime octave down. All courtesy of the GT-10. Dirt is all in the GT's effects loop and I just set it up so I can switch the loop on or off less tapdancing. No idea why it took me so long to do this.
