Reverb is awesome.
As are Phasers.
As are Phasers.
I love all sorts of modulation even though I don't use them a ton. I have a phaser, chorus, trem, and reverb in addition to fuzz, od, and delay.samzadgan wrote:so...besides fuzz and dirt pedals, what does everyone have on their board? I know everyone would have delay, and i'm set with that...but was thinking about trying something new. The reason it sparked my interest, yesterday i set my delay to a reverb type setting and it really beefed up the sound and i liked it...so now I'm thinking about getting a reverb pedal...and that got me thinking about all the other types pedals like tremelo, phaser, etc...what i'm wondering though is, what people find useful and what is a waste of time?
Wet is awesome and takes very well to Doom and Drone.sergiomunoz74 wrote:No better reverb than the WET stereo reverb. So much ambience, when I drone a heavy note, it just makes it sound 100 times more ominous
yes, yes, yes!AngryGoldfish wrote:I found a Marshall JCM800 Bass Series for €550. I've offered my modified Jet City as a partial trade. I don't have that much cash to spare, but if he takes the trade, I might catch a bus up to where he lives and give that thing a whirl. The price is definitely right, and it's apparently been serviced.

great guitars, i'd recommend them if you're into that sort of tone.sergiomunoz74 wrote:So guiz, I think I finally found the cheap doom guitar of my needs. Epiphone 1958 korina explorer reissue from the late 90's/early 00's. The shape I want, cheap price, comes with a hardcase, and I can't see it sounding bad with some small work here and there.
did time stop when you hit the first big muff'd chord?CaptainBoxman wrote:I just had the most terrifying (and awesome) jam to myself. I'm in love with the Big Green Pi. I also didn't realise my amp went that loud, so turning it up to full with the amp gain on 1, then hitting the muff was definitely a bad idea.
Or good, depending on your perspective.
it is a good idea to keep experimenting to a degree and fixing what is not broken if you think there could be an improvement, but when something works you don't have to try that hard, it just feels right.sergiomunoz74 wrote:I'm honestly how I feel about my muff. I'm starting to think I'm not a huge fan of stuff other than rats. I keep having issues with feedback on the muff versus my double rat combo is no problem.
Gotta continue to test, but a las I am also very sick.
i have an Artec Analog Delay, an Ibanez DL10 Digital Delay, a Boss DD-5 Digital Delay, an EQD Ghost Echo, and an EHX Small Stone USA.samzadgan wrote:so...besides fuzz and dirt pedals, what does everyone have on their board? Dr. Scientist RRR or the EQD Ghost Echo. I've yet to find better than these two, esp if the high gain is involved.samzadgan wrote:so whats a good reverb with a small footprint?
been listening to a bunch of reviews and its a close fight between Ghost Echo or the Subdecay.Holy Schnikes wrote:Dr. Scientist RRR or the EQD Ghost Echo. I've yet to find better than these two, esp if the high gain is involved.samzadgan wrote:so whats a good reverb with a small footprint?

AxAxSxS wrote:I use verb, delay, slow gear, synth, and sometime octave down. All courtesy of the GT-10. Dirt is all in the GT's effects loop and I just set it up so I can switch the loop on or off less tapdancing. No idea why it took me so long to do this.
I think I kow what my next bass will be-
Works with my idea of DOUBLE EVERYTHING!
Still trying to get people down with the idea of two drummers.Tony
