It's great that the construction in this building isn't going on DIRECTLY ABOVE MY CUBICLE and that it FINISHED A MONTH AGO just like it was supposed to.

while we're on the subject of alternative breakfast modalities, i want to warn you that if you try to sweeten your coffee with blueberry syrup it makes it taste exactly like strong black tea. of course, this may actually be handy for folks from Britain.

i figured out what i did to my back to fuck it up. it was the wider, padded strap which i bought to try and keep my Les Paul from fucking up my back.

No Festivals this summer. I had bought tickets for Melt! but I gave them to my (ex-)wife for christmas. Now every festival I'd want to go to is either sold out or too expensive. Plus I don't really want to go to a festival alone and my friends are all much more broke than I am.

Santa Cruz!!!! ARG I was just in Santa Clara for software training.
We could have been best friends!

Also: Just got my flight to China moved up 2 days and my departure from China moved back a day
18 days in southern china in the summer, sounds stinky!

my sister lived in Taiwan for 2 years...according to what she told me, you can expect it to be hot and humid most of the time, except when it rains, when it is just wet and soggy...but not as hot. Also, the air quality is pretty bad, depending on if you're gonna be in a big city...

Edit: I should point out that it's usually either very hot and humid or rainy and more mild, without much in between. (wet season/dry season, as opposed to four distinct seasons)
