how do i work this out

so i handed in this assessment for uni but its super late im trying to work out what i need to pass

its one assessment and one exam
each are 50% the total 100

a 25% on each is a pass
im guessing the exams are out of 100
my assesment was late by 3 long ass days which means 30% off what i get

what in the hell do i need to get to pass this shit on the exam if lets say i got a 60 out of 100 on the assesment

If you got 60% on the assessment, 30% off that would give you a mark of 42% for the assessment, which is 21% of the total mark, so to get over 50/100 overall (which is what you need, right?) you would need at least 58% on the exam.

I dont know if everywhere else does it...its kindof like an old fashioned lunch counter...actually i think it used to be the african american lunch counter untill like what 93 when segregation ended here? You mean because you handed in the assessment late you get 30% off the total mark? That's harsh.

In that case, to end up with an overall score of 50/100 you would need to get an actual total of 50/0.7=71.4% overall, and if you got 60/100 on the assessment, that means you would need to get 83% on the exam (or maybe 84, depending on how they round the scores...)

Seriously, what's up with that? Watermelon and fried chicken are delicious! I don't think I'd trust someone who DOESN'T like them.
