I think that because of how many dip switches are available to control ramping, you can only have midi control of five knobs. Unless you've been able to control all 6 on other pedals, in which case disregard what I said.DRodriguez wrote:I'm hoping that the tone knob on the Tonal Recall will be midi controllable, because I definitely want modulation ramping on mine.
At least with the second generation of of CB pedals, you have more control with midi than the switches (though no midi control over the switches). You even have midi control of things like the expression pedal.Agileguy_101 wrote:I think that because of how many dip switches are available to control ramping, you can only have midi control of five knobs. thanks for the feedback.Strange Tales wrote:The hiss on the Spectre mostly has to do with the regen knob being turned up pretty high. If I turn mine on with the regen knob down I don't hear a thing.

I'd have to disagree. Even with the regen knob low, you do get a fair amount hiss. It's definitely his noisiest pedal, I still absolutely love it. It is also rather finicky. You occasionally need to tweak regen trim pot because the range of the res will vary over time. I've been told that this may happen with temperature changes, but I keep mine at a stable temp almost always on a tabletop setup.Strange Tales wrote:The hiss on the Spectre mostly has to do with the regen knob being turned up pretty high.
