I think you guys will be pleased with this. I have this filter in my modular setup, and it's a beast! It's dirty, it screams, it gets a bit glitchy.

This whole idea got me thinking........... since this filter is known for self-oscillating like a mad man, it might be cool to have a second footswitch (on the stand-alone version) that engages a basic ring mod circuit and uses the oscillating resonance as the carrier signal.

Just thought I'd stir the pot a bit. Maybe it's a dumb idea. Maybe it would never work. Maybe it will change the world.

Why ring mod man?
a second footswitch to go to oscillation mode could be cool though but the way I understood it will also be possible to control resonance through the threadle / expression input so that's kinda similar.

I hate ring mod. Just saying it. I would probably not order the pedal if it had ring modulation because I hate it so much.

I guess to each their own? LOL

I think you guys are losing sight of the small & cheap aspect of the original intent of this thread.

Blokes and strokes...
Truth about the small and cheap, that's why I mentioned the expression control of the resonance, that already should be quite awesome me thinks...

Brian and I haven't had a discussion about the filter recently. We've both been really busy. We will definitely post any progression when it happens.
