You should really give the DMM550TT a whirl man, I'll bring it next time, apart from the Moog MF104M I haven't seen or heard a better analog tap tempo delay with better features yet.
You are a sweetheart! Ok, next time bbq and dmm550tt time.

I'm specifically getting this delay because it does NOT have tap tempo. I use my delays more for like running through the effects loop in my mixer as in for recording, so that's not a live thing where I have to sync up. But like I had the Supa Puss and neeeeeeever used the tap tempo. I bought it because I thought it would be a neat extra feature, but I just prefer unpredictable sounds, and tap delay just became annoying.

I freely admit that I'm trying to emulate the sounds of the 60s, and so tap tempo doesn't fit into my desires.

But yeah do what you like!

This pretty much sums it up for me as well. I like it when it's queazy, unpredictable and a little shitty sounding. Tap tempo has its uses, but also its pitfalls. Akin to recording drums with a click track. This reminds me of this: http://www.funkydown.com/downloads/shitty2.pdf

The price is what it is because it allows continuity for Fairfield Circuitry. I don't know what else to say.

Video IS coming.

You don't have to say anything else. There're always gonna be some people who question pricing.

To me the price very good... nothing to said about it.

Well, I was only feeding the discussion a bit you know, also some stuff is still unclear I must add:
- what's the third jack for, is it a stereo delay out, a dry out or an expression input maybe and if it is an expression input what does it control, can it control different parameters?
- does it have a infinite feedback mode on the footswitch maybe or does the compressor circuit possibly give this kind of functionality when switched on on certain settings?

What we know so far:

•Two bucket-brigade (BBD) stages, allowing from ~700ms to ~100ms delay times.
•Discrete JFET compressor built-in. Can be set to light or heavy via switch.
•CV jack for external control. Programmable by DIP switch inside case.
•Random delay time modulation, giving a light tape flutter effect. Also user-controllable.
•Full control of delay time, mix, feedback, tone and volume.

Thanks Syl, I must have missed that! :thumb:
Expression control sounds cool, I'm kinda curious about the compressor stuff.

I think that it can control other CV pedal (and be controlled) just like Randy's Revenge V2.
