Waiting on gear! By this point, I don't care about the rest of my stuff. I just want this one friggin' thing to get here.

Oh yea, almost forgot...I had to punch through a window last night to get into my own home. LAME. We were leaving to get whataburger and my roommate forgot his car keys inside. Realized right after the locked door closed behind us.

i just found out a school i applied to NEVER RECEIVED MY ACT SCORES. i sent them out november 7th and they just called me a few days ago (and i only just got the call now) to tell me this.

oh my god. i just called them and the office forwarded me to someone's voicemail. i'm freaking out so bad right now. now i can't leave (i was supposed to go somewhere) because i'm waiting for them to call back i hate my life wtf

and to make it even better. THE REPORTS ARE MAILED ELECTRONICALLY. SO THEY LOST THEM AND NOW I'M PROBABLY FUCKED.

more raging. ACT SAGA PART 2

sent an email to the woman who originally called me and told me my scores weren't received. i called the act peepz and they gave me a cycle number to give the school that would allow them to pull up the scores they lost.

i got an out of office email. you know what it said? 'STARTING MAY 28TH I WILL BE OUT OF THE OFFICE FOR SUMMER.'

i emailed it to someone else. but still. what the fuck? this is the highest ranking college i'm applying to and it's also the one that i've had the most issues with.

You still get the picks though. They're all I use.

I get them every other order. Don't give up hope!

I don't actually clean my guitars ever, though... but they're nice for camera lenses. : p

Also, those picks suck. Use different picks. Like ones that don't suck.

this happened to me and im pretty sure avoided sure death and failure by just not giving up when trying to contact people. i am trying to transfer from school a to school b, school b's deadline was a month ago and about 3 weeks ago they told me they never got my transcripts from school a. i just called school a and raised shit while telling school b my side of the story

i realize thats a lot different then getting forgotten by the act but if the school youre applying to has at least some empathy they will see the fuck up happened out of your hands and work with you

Lucky...
Yeah I very rarely use them for guitar, but they're great to have around. You'll always need one eventually.
The picks just feel comfortable to me :idk:. I don't use them as often as my fingers but I like that they're a little bit flexible and not GIGANTIC like "specialized bass picks". I also don't like tiny ones such as Jazz IIIs against big strings.

I especially hate these...

If you want a boring pick attack then by all means go crazy. Not as articulate as a pick and not full like fingertips. Plus they're huge.

Didn't know they used triangle picks, but I don't listen to them either.

When I tried them it didn't feel right, I've always liked to use the same picks for guitar and bass. :idk:

i pretty much just use my fingers or really shaved down picks so it doesn't feel like i'm using a pick but i can still get that harsh sound and almost break strings a lot.
well i guess, but i just don't know.
