Are you kidding me? The M9 is ridiculous... and by ridiculous I mean amazing. The modulation is fantastic, and the reverb and delays are off the hook. Throw in a built in looper, and plenty of control when you incorporate up to 2 expression pedals, and you've got a winner in my book. I've got plenty of "boutique" pedals, and I don't plan on getting rid of my M9.

The M9 is my Swiss Army Knife of awesome. I use it mainly for delay, reverb and the looper. I also use the pitch shifting a good amount, and some modulation here and there. I realized that I loved having lots of different types of delays and reverbs at hand, and this was the most economical way for me to get them. I wish I could have a Miniberator and a Spring Chicken and an El Capistan and a Superdelay and a Timefactor and a Boomerang 3+, but there is simply no way I could afford it. The M9 gets me the largest palette of tones for the buck, and I am super happy with it.

One of my favorite things about it is the ability to assign the expression pedal to any parameter of any effect. This is cool on its own, but you can control multiple parameters of multiple effects using the SAME EXPRESSION PEDAL!!! For example, say you have analog delay, reverb and pitch shifter set for an octave down. With the exp down, the Modulation depth is low on the delay and the feedback is short, and the mix is most of the way down on the reverb and the mix is all the way down on the pitch shifter. As I rock the exp pedal foward, mod depth and feedback increase, and reverb and pitch shifter are mixed in so you have crazier delay, gobs of reverb and some octave down. I think that's pretty cool

Okay, so bang for buck the M9 is worth it, adn you could never fit the pedals you mentioned on a Pt-2 (I have one, check the thread) obviously interms of music and gear and whatnot it's all opinion adn what sounds good to you, personally i like indivual pedals, because i couldn't have one thign to do it all I could only have atlest 11 pedals to do it most! Aslong as you lke the M9 that's all that matters, i just gottat get my opinion out there.

I dig it. It is great for super squishy comp and sustain. It's not subtle, though. Even when sustain and blend are only at noon, its already pretty extreme.

Yup, Dumkudo Twin Custom. I like the TS (red-LED) mode the best.

haha yeah the red mode was my favorite too, green had the most boost and more dumble sound, blue had a volume drop but was smooth heaven. blue mode with gain maxed and volume around noon on a cranked 5W tube amp = 60's RAWK tone

i've been thinking about getting a Syb-5 but had no opportunity to try it out with guitar.

Hmmm, to be honest, I haven't really tried it much with guitar. I'll do that tomorrow and let you know.

How do you like the Hoax?
I've never had a chance to try one and find I'm using the flanger on my polychorus more than the chorus.
Maybe it's time for a switch?
