I only have one friend on PSN that plays Resident Evil. Where are the rest of you?

Don't you want to be cool like Ryan (Fuzzrocious) and I?

After finally getting around to fixing my 360 a few weeks ago that had broken... 2 years ago I think... I got Halo 4 for Christmas. It seems to me that over the course of those 2 years, everyone has gotten horrible at playing Halo and Halo has become Call of Duty. It's fun I guess, but it's not really what I remember Halo being (3 was the last one I'd played, had been playing the first Modern Warfare a bunch when I red ring'ed).

I love BL2, I'm still really into it and i'm looking forward to the DLC coming out this month.

For some reason Deus Ex:HR is always insanely cheap during Steam sales, so i'm playing through again (on PC and not ps3). Seriously, Its a great fucking game. I might try Far Cry 3 when I can.

I've been having a load of fun with Starfarer lately. Its a weird open world Mount & Blade-esque space combat strategy rpg thingy. It's still in alpha but its showing real promise with regular updates from the developers. Check it:

don't let the sims graphics turn you off....this game is goddamn horrifying and will leave you a mess if you let it. Survival horror for days. If you have 8 bucks sitting around, I'd highly suggest picking this one up.

Speaking of zombies, finally picked up a copy of Dead Rising. It kind of sucks. Clunky controls, fucked up in-game clock that means you have to stay on mission and can't really go off the reservation, and you can only save in certain rooms and only get one save file. So if you play for an hour or so mauling undeads then die, you have to reload and go all the way fucking back to where you started minus all your hard earned kills. I played the first fifteen minute section about four times today. Don't think I'll bother continuing with it.

Disappointing.

On the other hand, I spent most of the arvo playing Saints Row The Third, which is hilarious fun. Don't think I've ever laughed so much while playing a game.

Ooo... call me intrigued, looks like it could be fun.

Any other good zombie ones coming out this year? Resi 6 was mostly fun for the leon campaign but then just no.

Playing NFS Most Wanted...not as fun as the original (that was a great arcade-y racer with fun progression/bosses).

RE6 is up next. The bar was set pretty low by RE5 so here's hoping.

I watched a Twitch.tv streamer play that game in japanese. He translated it as he played it; beautiful game and it was a lot of fun too watch.

also on the game front I upgraded my video card too a GTX 660 ti but I am still playing a lot of World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2 and occasionally Heroes of Newerth, though I may just put the axe in that game since MOBA communities are the fucking worst. Its troll central.

I still have Dead Space 2, Darkstalkers 2, and Civilization 5 loaded on my computer that I have either not played or lost complete interest in. I am still struggling to play music with out being distracted by any game mentioned and or Twitch.tv.

oh twitch.tv........

After my best friend told me about it I have been a pure addict for the last 3 years and it is now the main media that I watch.

Favorite streamers are Man vs Game, Team Spooky (which does east coast street fighter), Reckful (wow arena player, very pouplar), Towlliee ( another wow streamer)

I also have to mention probably my favorite person to watch play and that is Cosmowright (or Cosmo for short). Watching him play games at the level he does is simply just mind boggling. He is the co-founder of speedrunslive and just recently I watched him beat The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker in 4 hours 30 minuets roughly....... The level of play is just staggeringly amazing.

I spent about 4 hours in Borderlands 2 last night...GREAT fun! Whoever voiced Handsome Jack must have had a hard time not lol'ing at some of his dialogue during the recording sessions. And/but obviously I've barely seen any of the bazillion guns, but what I have seen (mostly pistols) so far is a bit...I dunno, disappointing or something when compared to the first game. I'm guessing that they're ramp up as I get deeper into it, tho.

they sorta dumbed it down in a way i'm ok with.... there's none of the proficiency bonuses when you use a certain type. but like with the first game, i got moist using subs.

SO MANY SUBS IF FIREY ELECTRO DEATH.

I was wondering it it had been de-tuned a bit...I try not to judge a new game solely on the first few hours, but something seemed a tiny little bit off now and then last night. Not complaining, just sayin...
