Thanks buddy. I try to improve them from time to time. With school back up, I'm probably going back to my old ways.
Confession: Girlfriend's Canon EOS 7D (I think), windows movie maker, no miking up. I do have a SM58 that could probably get the job done, but...even more stuff to figure out, bah...

No cuts...just straight up turning knob and improvising hoping for something sounding good to happen

I just record and unless I flub big time by not understanding the pedal I just let it roll and upload it. Wow, that Canon's mike sound has so much higher fidelity than my potato's. I wouldn't even have another use for a digital camera though.

Be sure to use an expression pedal with the sick pitch king jr, it really sounds best that way...or at least be sure to try it out. I've found that if a LAL pedal has an expression jack its a wise idea to use it.
I'll get to the angel ring eventually. I was actually running my LAL fuzzes into a treble booster for a while then switched to using the boost off a distortion for a bit. They do need a defining boost before some modulation/delay though, imo. The Tone Axe cuts a little better than the 46, 88, or Octavella to my ears. Any recommendations on boosts? I've got a blowing up coming someday.
I've thought about a copilot broadcast to control some of this stuff too. I agree that alot of the pedals need the cv for true character(misty cave is way better with it). Any other recommendations? Koma Kommander? All I have is a moog ep3.
Oh, i'm sure you'be heard it a ton, your the videos don't help with GAS (I think they've talked me into a kompact kassette), but they've pointed me in the right direction quite a bit. Your videos are pretty neat though, like experiments.
Hope I ain't takin' this thing off topic (sorry if I did).

That is the one single pedal I would probably buy in a heartbeat if I ever saw it for sale. Seems really interesting, and the 88 is my favourite pedal ever, so I kinda want the pair.

But noone ever sells them...
Got an EV-5 expression pedal last week. Can't believe I didn't get it earlier, it's amazing with the 88. ALL OF TEH SOUNDS.

I'm glad my videos have helped, it surprises me that people even watch them
All i use is my moog ep-2 expression pedals. I'd like to buy a dozen ep-3 as I hate the long ass cables on my ep-2, I think that upgrade was the smartest move on moog's part. You know what, I have 2 koma kommanders and I'm going to have to try them out because they rule on everything else. I can't believe I've never tried them with my LAL, i usually use them with my synth gear. Thanks for the heads up on that, i'll get back to you regarding how they perform. I get great results with my ep-2 though, I have had a big ol boner for the copilot broadcast but never pulled the trigger. they are so reasonably priced too for what they provide.
For boost I use my go to Gretsch Playboy Harmon Boost...it can also add some vox v828 tone bender tones if i really dial up the gain.

I know, it makes me sad. The old Ripplet looked neat too.

I actually tried the infared thing from a Koma bd101 into a Misty Cave. It didn't do much, but the bd101 was pretty much DOA; the thing just hissed at me no matter what it did and had no delay. Had it for like 20 hours...just long enough to put it in the mail for an exchange (which I still haven't got). I never adjusted the attenuators or anything. Was probably just broken. 'Twas a strange episode in GAS. Let me know though if they work well together as the Kommander is cheaper than those Roland ev5s (the ep3 is still a great value though).
I think I will pull the trigger on a broadcast sometime soon.

that pedal is so much amazing! That sucks you got a bum unit, you're in for a good time when you get a replacement. I can't imagine the koma kommanders being anything but amazing with the LAL, I'll be sure to let you know...I'll probably make a quick demo

Brian's gonna be on tour through spring, so I would guess early Summer unless he has something else new that he wants to roll out first ...

I know, I'm such a traitor.
But fuck, I wasn't using half the board so stuff had to go. What I didn't sell I kept to keep recording interesting. Cause hell yea.
