i can't hate her as a person because i don't know her. i hate what she represents and what she stands for/is a symbol of!

Anyway, I just pulled this gem out of the old cd case for the first time in years:

And it's still fucking awesome. Just threw it on the computer and dropped in on the ipod.

Shit, can't sleep... because i went home from school, stopped by for two beers and some food with friends and came home and fell asleep for like four hours... woke up in the evening

so i'm currently blasting Meshuggah and enjoying tea with honey, lemon and whiskey (for falling asleep better... i also have a cold)

we have to stop having the same bad habits...i was up until 4AM last night, worrying and fucking about on the internet and watching stupid shit on telly. tonight i really am going to set up my amplifier...i've been so weirded out and so busy trying to sort the house out since Kim's movers were here and basically trashed the place moving her shit out that i haven't played a note since last week other than some half-hearted tootling on the melodica along with a Bowie record. note: the keyboard melodica makes for a pretty neat faux accordion in the French style on "Changes." not that i can reeally play it well, but it sounds cool.

but i did get a lot of OTHER stuff set up. i have my whole workstation set up including MiniMe, the Mac Mini i haven't used much for about four years; and a wireless modem so i can haul the laptop off to bed, etc., and the sad-ass pile of components gaffa-taped together that i call a stereo which currently consists of the amp section of a 1990s JVC boombox, a pair of Panasonic speakers i got from the thrift shop for $10, my dual well DJ CD decks, and a 7-channel Behringer DJ mixer that goes back to the turn of the century that i can also run the computer into for working on tracks. now i have to take the decks apart because one side is tweaked and is only reading intermittently. someday i'm going to remember to look for work again...or have TIME to look for work again between reconstructing my life.

Live's been fucking with me lately so those bad habits are not under my control

no. after the two days of incredibly disruptive and destructive moving, when i learned i was legally required only to offer her "reasonable access" i ordered her to cancel the planned Sunday moving session; i'd had enough, and then slept for the next 14 hours because i was so physically and mentally exhausted by all this. she's apparently planning on coming up on Saturday, allegedly accompanied by sheriffs' deputies, to "look for some items that are meaningful to me." as soon as she arrives i'm calling the cops. i have no intention whatsoever of allowing her to tear through my house again after i've barely put things together from last week's shit. apparently i'm going to have to file a formal notice of eviction, wait 30 days, and then have the sheriffs come and remove everything she's left.
