Moved continents a couple of times.. finished a uni degree.. took a long break from playing music, but I'm not sure I can ignore the call of the fuzz for much longer..
Things are okay, though. Hope you're well

The fuzz beckons. :!!!:

Sounds like you've had some interesting years, fuzzless though they may have been.

I was going to complain about everything in the news upsetting me. I looked at the news and I never do and seriously fuck lots of people and about how I am trying to move in a city that is deemed the most expensive in Europe and I have a couple grand and I want to spend it on pedals and a tele but I need it for a deposit and it makes me sad and how I wish I still liked some of the people I used to know but I don’t.

But seriously dude. Losing a pet is the worst.

I’m so sorry, Dubs. I know she was special and beyond loved.

Hope you’re okay and talking to people who can help. I’ve lost teenaged fur kids, so if you need someone who gets it, lemme know.

My old high school is talking about changing their team names because of the connections to the Confederacy (and because folks keep on bringing in Confederate flags), lemme tell you, some of the stuff that was posted on the alumni facebook group was pretty messed up, this is the only one I got a screencap of before I got booted from the group for arguing with folks supporting keeping the name (also, fun fact, this person did not get booted, nor did most of the "keep it the same" folks, one of which was laying it on heavy about how many guns they had) Image

It's always amazed me how "proud" people all of their High School years after the fact. Even during. And it's always the people who cut class all the time and were discipline problems. Like bro... you didn't even like your High School. Maybe show up and show some respect for the staff and then try out the pride factor. It's bizarre.

We would have people get into fist fights with other schools over sporting events when 1. It wasn't even at the game 2. These people did not play sports and 3. These were always the kids that cut class and did not have any roots in any activities, let alone actual school. I kind of get organizing fights as a youth but... let's not do it under the guise of school pride.

I could be wrong but, at least most Hooligans actually LIKED Football (Soccer for us USA folks).

EDIT: My College mascot was/is the Owl which I'm actually giggling at considering my current interests (and the mug I am presently drinking out of).

Whether or not hooligans care much about football is... People love being in tribes. I'm not at all surprised it's the people not too bothered about football who started these fights. I imagine they just felt like a group and wanted to fight.

This is some next level stupidity.

Oh man, the shit I've seen some people I went to high school with post over the last month.
My fav thing is when they post super old articles saying shit like, "LITERALLY EVERY POLICE MAYNE HAS BEEN SHOT AND KILLED IN THE LAST THIRTY SECONDS" and I'm just like....that article's from 2007.

I've had to quit reading Facebook but sometimes I still come back for that purestrain good shit right into to my veins, courtesy of my father in law and his old guy group, AKA "As a REAL PATRIOT, I'm ready and willing to resist a government that's doing some fucked-up shit, but also I'm going to totally bootlick a government that's doing some fucked-up shit"
