A few days ago, I got this--

This is the best thing I've ever seen. Every pedal should look like this.

sooo this happened yesterday

I ordered a TAFM, not a Buzz, so initially I was a little set back/"disappointed" since I was looking for something to replace my wicker's trebley tones and from what I've read this thing was made to rip on bass. it was way too beautiful for me to bitch about to brian though (also a hook up in some respect) so I tried it out.

at first, I put the Buzz in front of my chain with the Fuck at the end, after reverb. holy hell the buzz has balls, but I'll be real - I wasn't impressed. so, I hit standby smoked a couple of bowls and came back to it. this time I tried a shoot out between my Gojira OG TS-9 clone and Fuck. the Fuck brings some serious crunch and provided some low end I forgot existed, but in the end I am just in complete love with my Gojira. the guts look like garbage but ohh does it sing. "mehh" I thought. smoked a couple of more bowls and put the Fuck at the end, but this time BEFORE reverb and the Buzz after my OD and before my demo tape fuzz. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I set a 10 second loop at the beginning of the chain and fiddled with the buzz/fuck knobs for about an hour, no joke. I was soo freaking amazed by this set up. brian truly nailed it with the basinski inspiration. the buzz is doomy as all fuck - trying to yield some shoegaze out of it. I'm still confused as to how this fucking thing works. I want to love it so bad.

but seriously, this picture doesn't do the enclosure's art job justice. it glistens like a nug covered in trichomes. my daughter's face lit up every single time I showed it to her. it was weird.

Brian's pedals are truly beautiful, love his art and how his pedals sound.

This^ I only have one SS/BS pedal, a Hawk fuzz and it is awesome. So simple yet so versatile. I am gassing for a Mini or Fuck in the new year. Don't know which one though. I want the one that can get the most crazy.

They all get crazy in their own way.

Fuck is great for running delay and loops into to junk them up.

Mini gets gated, glass shattering fuzz sounds with the bias all the way down and the gain up.

TAFM is awesome for intense broken synth and all around mean fuzz sounds.

Buzzz is super versatile with the octave up that goes from kinda synthy to sharp and abrasive, to squished and compressed to hell. Add the tone blast and it will shake your house off the foundation.
