none of my friends play it anymore, so I'm stuck playing pickup games with random strangers... my buds keep trying to get me to pick up Arma II to play some Day Z, but my machine can't hack that shit. I need a new video card

Get War Z instead
Day Z was fun for a week and Arma has impressive map sizes, but everything else about that engine totally blows. Way too clunky for me...plus you have to kneel down to do anything. Kneel to use binoculars. Kneel to eat. Kneel to heal yourself. Get shot in the leg and have to either suicide or drag yourself to the next town, which is an hour away (30 minutes if you sprint the entire time through the empty woods).
Good times indeed...WarZ is just more streamlined, with all the fun of Day Z (shooting every player who isn't in your group).
I don't have Left 4 Dead installed anymore, but man...people in multiplayer are nuts. They get SO angry, so fast. God help anyone who just started. Damn guys, you here to have fun or is this a job?

Supposedly, Capcom has a free full download of 'Street Fighter X Mega Man' for PC available
here, but I can't get the page to fully load right now (I'm guessing that their servers may be a bit busy now). Read about it
here.

I couldn't get Capcom's page to work, so I grabbed it from

Isn't that a Zelda reference?
- Edit - There's a vid of the opening scene from Bioshock: Infinite
here. Spoiler warnings are everywhere but I don't think it gives away too much...aside from the first 5 minutes of the game, that is.

I just put a EVGA gtx 670 FTW in my PC, really fast and quiet. Though I should probably get some ultra high end games to warrant it.
I've recently bought XCOM though, haven't played it yet.

Play it when you're in a mood that won't make you pissed off, lol. It's a good pissed off though. I'm taking my time with it.

The video was pretty sweet. I don't think any spoilers were given away... I mean it's the first five minutes of the game... how much can be spoiled in that time frame.

Steam Winter Sale time! Picked up FTL, the Witcher 2 and Gods and Kings for Civ5. Now I just need to inform my family that I will not be spending time with them this holiday season...

I think Bioshock Infinite is going to be REALLY REALLY GREAT. I'm not going to watch the first 5 minutes though.
I got a Wii back in 2006 or whenever it came out, and played a whole bunch of games on that, but never got into Xbox or PS3 territory. I finally bought a PS3 a few months ago to go through all of their huge games, and it's been pretty fun so far. The game I started with was Bioshock, and and even though it came out in what, 2007?... it blew my mind. I loved every second of it. It was my kind of introduction to HD next-gen (this gen) games, and I don't think I could have picked a better game to start with. I haven't played Bioshock 2 yet, and though I'm looking forward to that, Infinite looks incredible. Plus I guess the big-titted heroine can rip holes in space/time, which gives me a boner as much as the boobs.
I like Far Cry 3 and Red Dead, but I've gotta have some sci-fi in there or I won't be as into it.
