we're moving in april, and i'm going to miss Desertfest and Torche in London. Desertfest has Red Fang, Sleep...and further down the list..Lo Pan
Yeah man. Torche and Windhand just came through (although I missed them, as I am pov).
Sleep are coming back in December and High on Fire are pretty regular, as are Om actually.
Lots of good bands rolling through, nowadays.
We even got Neurosis for the first time in their long career a few months ago.
So, mostly the dark days are over.
Unless you live in Perth. They do miss a bit of stuff there because of the vast distance.
And it's not a total graveyard soft local acts these days either, quality is definitely on the up.

Fuck I love the outro on that. So epic rock and roll.
Start your day off right.
Start it with Torche.
Man when they play that song live it's just the happiest trance you slip into during the outro. Just beautiful.

Dude. That is not grunge music, IMO. That's kind of 90s radio rock.
Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Tad, Melvins, early Soundgarden, Nirvana's "Bleach," Seaweed, The Fluid, Gas Huffer, Green Magnet School, et. al is what I think of when people say grunge.
No offense, I just know that you're an avid music fan, and I'd love to see you dig a little deeper.
Eeehhh that was what I was listening to at that time and cut it short for story's sake, sorry if I didn't say whatever the fuck right genre while at lunch.
I listened to Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Melvins, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Gas Huffer, The Fluid and I have their cds. Never heard of Green Magnet School, Didn't dig Tag all that much never heard of Seaweed.
I have dug plenty fucking deep. Thanks for your non-help.
did this while I was loading files to a jump drive of stuff I just recorded

Seeing them live was one of the most fun and completely relaxing things I have ever done. So fucking great live.
