Just do me a favour and don't post your rig before take off. I'd like to maintain some sense of satisfaction with my own rig...

Baha!
Actually I need to get onto a 412 to run that AOR into.
Then I need to get onto a KT88 slave amp for the AOR. And then I need a 612 to sit under that.
Then I'll be getting somewhere.

Hah, that's how mine acts some times. Did you have to put him down due to illness or some other thing?

Yeah he went blind but that wasn't so much of a problem. He started to really zone out and walk around in circles. It was like the lights were on but nobody was home. We think he had a brain tumor. He was very old. He was such an awesome cat. Having him put down has broke my heart, but he wasn't enjoying life anymore so it was the right thing to do. He had lost his purr.

I'm gassing for a Dirge SSStampede. Just have to wait for Skully to have a bit more time and I'll get the ball rolling on it. With his new cherub and new job, time is lacking. PMed him about it. Probably wont be till next year. No biggie. From the demo's I've heard it will be worth the wait.

I'm thinking about Modulation.
Pigtronix Quantum, TC Corona or Vortex....and big box Small Clone.
I don't have much modulation. It needs to be remedied

Eventide Mod factor? I lean a bit towards the pigtronix in that list, though...

TC's mod pedals were probably the worst sounding to my ears out of those I've played, unless you've tried and liked them then by all means.
IMO boss pedals stack up really well to more boutique mod pedals but if you have the cash a polytope or cosmichorus or an A/DA flanger is an awesome option. Haven't tried the pigtronix though.

Buy a cheap Japanese flange from the 80s for your chorus/flange/weirdness needs.
Seriously.
They're all based on an A/DA and if you don't like them stock it's no biggie to mod them.
They sound lush as fuck, too.
I got an old Yamaha from Chank a while back and it's as ugly as sin, but sounds great.
Definitely run them on iso power though.

I bought a Boss BF-2 off a fellow pedal fiend in like '92/'93. Have never felt the need for another flanger.
Not only is it perfect for swooshy, Disintegration-era Cure jank, it also cops a pretty sweet vibrato.

Definitely this.

Funny thing is, I played the Pigtronix one but I honestly can't imagine the TC pedals or any other pedal for that matter to sound worse in a bad way than the Pigtronix.
