Definitely never. And what's worse is they are often expensive. We just had pictures taken for our second kid. I've never looked back at the photos from any other shoots, yet we spend hundreds on more cheesy pictures.

guy i work with is getting married. another co-worker does wedding photographer. here's their conversation.

b: i can shoot your wedding.
d: what's it cost?
b: starts at 35.
d: 35 dollars, damn that's cheap.
b: no. 35 hundred.

that's what i swooped in and was like: "number of times i've looked at my wedding photos over the last 5 years is: 0. don't spend that kind of money on that bull shit."
